After researching foam and comparing price and size to that of a local retail store, I'm very happy with my choice. The foam arrived earlier than the initial delivery date and was well packaged. I opened it to test the feel of sitting/lying on it before making the cushions. TIP: When unboxed, it is big! I wish I had opened the first box in the sewing room instead of wrestling it up the stairs!It cuts very well with an electric knife, though I have read (but not tried) you can use a hot knife to cut foam. I measured, marked and cut with the electric knife. The first pieces were quite small and easy to manage. The third piece was much larger and my cut was not as straight or clean as I would like. Not a major issue, as the uneven edge was placed in the bottom of the cover so it is not visible. For the remaining 5 pieces, my husband cut while I helped steady the foam and the result was near perfect!I have not yet installed or used the cushions inside my camper so I cannot speak to the durability or longevity of the foam. Some use a layer of cushion wrap to help slide the foam into a cover. I opted for an inside case made from muslin. The muslin cases served 2 purposes: 1) a prototype for sewing the actual covers and 2) the muslin made it very easy to slide the foam inside the cover. The covers were made using a lightweight vinyl for the backs/bottoms and 100% cotton home decor fabric from Joann's.The cushions are very comfortable inside my house and I have no doubt they will be enjoyed for a long time in my camper. Based on the appearance, ease of cutting and feel, I would purchase this foam again if needed.

Foam and quilt batting was great. The foam cutting tool did not work as well. The foam was 6" thick and that may have been too much for it to cut. Overall good experience with the other items.

I've had this couch for 7 years and it's gotten it's share of ware. I wanted to replace it but everything I liked was soooo expensive and there was nothing wrong with the build of the couch so it felt wasteful. Instead I replaced the pillows, threw the sofa slip covers in the washing machine and swapped put the foam filling for this. I got the 96" with the maximum depth, I think 5 or 6 inches and even took the batting off the old foam and put it on this. Secured it with some duct tape because who's gonna see that? I used a serrated knife to cut the foam to size. Bam, no more soggy cushions and my sofa feels kinda new. Not new new, but new enough. Let's see how long this lasts.

Used to add more cushion to 5in sofa with a wood platform base. Popped up very evenly - high quality. Relatively easy to cut 2in with scissors. Little bit of a smell to it.The firm is quite firm. I probably should have gone with 1in thickness or a less firm padding.

très bonne qualité de mousse, j'ai l'intention de remettre à neuf un vieux siège Dyane 6 pour plus de confort. comme elle est disponible en différentes épaisseurs, je peux envisager des projets futurs qui bénéficieraient de ce produit de qualité.

Nos divans dataient de 15 ans et les tissus étaient encore bon, comme d'habitude les mousses n'avaient plus de fermeté. Les compagnies ont la fâcheuse habitude de mettre des mousses de dossier au fessier et perdent leurs fermetés après quelques temps. Nous les avons tous remplacer par des 6 pouces ferme (44) en récupérant le polyester des anciens. Pour 200$ pour 4 fessiers c'est raisonnable et espérons une durée de vie 5-10 ans !
