Works for what it is and the price it does come loose then becomes very uncomfortable because it’s in the side of your boot and twisting your foot as you try to ascend so I will pull it through the buckle and then tie off the end with a hair tie it helps but still a pain

Since these are designed to mount on the outside of the foot, I ordered a left so that I could mount it on the inside of my right foot. Works perfectly in this configuration. So far it functions just like the high dollar name brand ascender that I used for 4 years. I really have no complaints. Other users who have complained about having to feed the rope through after every step are either using too large of a rope or are maybe just unfamiliar with how to use a for ascender.

It took one climb for this thing to break. I attempted to use it for its intended purpose- ascending a rope, but even though I am not large (only about 150lbs.) the foostrap broke on first use. Would not recommend.

I have size 13 feet and it works okay. The straps don't have enough tail to give me warm fuzzies but it works. Make sure it's tight! It tends to roll some.
