I use a cordless saw for most work, but while I have cordless vacuums and such, I prefer a corded one for long term use. Issue is turning it on and off every time I make a cut.Found this to give a try...works perfectly! Just goes in line with the vacuum, then leave the power switch for the vacuum on, and press when you need it. Inexpensive and portable dust collection.Only complaint is it is a plastic material with almost no weight/padding. So it tends to move easily. Not a deal breaker since you can simple tape it down or similar, but be aware it will crawl on you.,

Works great when making sausages links. Starting and stopping is a lot easier than reaching for a switch. Should have got this foot switch years ago

I have a floor lamp that does not have a switch, so I'm always having to bend down and plug it in and pull the plug. It is such a pain. I saw this product and it works just awesome. I just step on it and the light comes on and off. Brilliant idea

I bought this to convert my blasting cabinet to foot operated rather than a squeeze trigger on the gun itself. This foot pedal works just fine, but it’s very lightweight and has a bunch of plastic. I doubt it’ll last forever, but it was a decent value for the price. Now that I’ve successfully converted my blast cabinet, I’ll make improvements on the concept as the original parts and pieces fail. Based on the money I spent on this footpedal, I’m satisfied with my purchase. I wasn’t sure I could reconfigure successfully, so I really wasn’t looking to spend a bunch of money for an experiment. I’m sure it will work just fine if I can avoid stomping on it or abusing it in some other way.

Used this on a delta scroll saw. Easy to install and so much easier and safer to use than using the on off switch on the machine. My kids are old enough to it realize to stay away, but there is a potential safety issue if someone steps on it. The machine will turn on and if they are prepared it could scare or do some damage. So it should be tucked away when not in use.

Would be better if the input and output cables entered at the same hole, or at most within 90° of each other? Having the input and output at 180° presumes this is going to be installed in-line, which I think is unlikely.
