No question this heavy socket is a must-have if you need to remove the harmonic balancer bolt on a Honda (e.g. for timing belt replacement). Before purchasing, I debated whether to get this one (cheaper) vs. the Lisle socket. Turned out they have the same mass (1.9 lb) so I went with this less expensive product. And it worked out beautifully with my 460 lb-ft impact wrench. Took 2 seconds to get it out!Note I replaced my timing belt only five years ago so this bolt hasn't been there for too long (probably not as tight/seized as one never touched since factory) and I did use penetrating oil to help this removal.FYI. The Honda balancer bolt is notorious for its stubbornness. You can watch on youtube how people lose their mind, break their tools before the bolt even budges. Be prepared. Good luck!

Saved me so much time and stress!! One of the hardest things about changing a timing belt is removing the crank pulley bolt. This weighted socket removed the crank bolt in about 2 seconds using a Dewalt 20v Max impact DCF891B. I was shocked that it actually worked!!

I changed the timing belt in my wife's 2013 Honda Odyssey, and this socket was what kept the curse words at bay. It's weighted and when combined with at least a mid tongue impact gun, will spin the bolt out effortlessly. Prior to ordering this socket, I busted my normal 19mm socket under the load of my impact gun, and when that failed I tried a regular 19mm impact socket both with the gun, and then with extensions and a long breaker bar, the bolt still wouldn't come out.I would advise, in addition to using this socket with an impact gun to heat the tip of the bolt with a torch and hit it with PB blaster or the like and the bolt will come out using this weighted socket combined with an impact gun.

Heavy, beefy and big - this socket will certainly carry plenty of kinetic energy to your Honda crank bolt for water pump / timing belt jobs.Don't expect miracles however ... hooked up to my pedestrian Porter Cable consumer impact gun, the bolt did not budge. You are still going to need ~ 300 ft*lbs or more probably to break a Honda crank bolt free.I purchased a big Milwaukee impact gun and combined with this socket, I actually giggled like a school kid at how easy it was to remove. Compared to my first time when I had 6 feet of pipe, extensions and jack stands to break a Honda crank bolt free, this was an awesome experience.

I threw this on my impact and it zipped the crank bolt right out. I bought this after literally cracking another socket on this bolt without budging it. It works, don't suffer through lighter weight sockets.

I honestly believe the crank bolt on my 2012 Accord EXL could not be removed with ANY impact gun!I twisted off 2 1/2†drives & went with 3/4†all the way

Best if used with air impact or a milwaukee impact if you have one tried my dad's kobalt impact it was too weak the socket definitely needs the extra power to work properly

Bought this for removing a crank bolt on a Honda V6 that was partially rusted/corroded on. Took about 30 sec of hammering/impacting to knock loose with my 240ft/lbs electric impact gun. A must have for DIY'ers and mechanics. Saves hassle and effort from breaking/flexing your breaker bars. This socket weighs 8 times more than the regular sized socket, that's a lot more force as F=ma
