I used a blow dryer to heat the eges andthe old screen came right off. I recemmend using gloves if your screen shattered like mine becareful with the glass. I found it helpful to put shipping tape over the beoken screen before peeling the old one off.

Did not work. Install was tedious and in the end touch screen function wouldn’t work. Can’t return because no way to remove without breaking. Waste of money.

This is an amazing way to save money if you still have a modern iPad, but as someone who does these repairs often, I can confidently recommend to not buy this product if you are inexperienced on working with tech. Even for more advanced people, glass replacements are quite long and tedious. With that said, if you are confident in your skills, this is a great product.

Be advised that this product does not come with instructions. So unless you happen to be an iPad repair technician, you will probably need to buy two because the first one will get broke in some way.

Install was straight forward but I wish I had seen that the home button needs to be replaced for touch ID to function. No I dont have touch ID without removing everything again and getting more tape for the screen.Glass functions fine, screen protector was low quality. This would be a great replacement for a kids iPad.

Kit looked very nice and complete to do the changing of the screen. This isn’t the first time I’ve changed one, more so the tenth time. But, this is the first time I’ve used this brand/ seller !The home button works but the finger BIOMETRIC PART DOESNT-that is associated with the button, essentially unlocking iPad without code I was going to swap home button out with old one as I read this can be an issue- to be sure, but it looked so good I didn’t bother. I always test before I Lock Screen down essentially sealing everything up but I didn’t this time as again everything looked so good! Well it’s dead 1/2 function works bio dead ! I should of checked functions firstWell now I’m out of the cost and time of this unit and have to BUY ANOTHER SCREEN and start all overNOT HAPPY

The digitizer seems to function well, however, the type or amount of adhesive on the screen does not work. I cleaned the surface well. Removed all old debris and cleaned with isopropyl alcohol, but screen still refuses to stick. Recommend supplying a small bottle of liquid adhesive to contents of package. I will now have to go buy this separate

Warning to potential buyer!!!This digitizer doesn't work correctly, when i installed it, the touch response in not responsive and most of the time it doesn't respond at all. If you don't want to lose your money, avoid this product at all.
