This is an EXACT match for the original part as delivered by Ford. Once the antenna is installed (or it CAN be installed before, if desired) this cap snaps on over the base assembly on the fender. One caution, it is better to put it on in warm weather so that the snap fingers don't get damaged when snapping it on. It takes a bit of a push to do so but it does hold on, just fine once in place.

100% does it’s job. Simply snaps on over the antenna base.
