I gave this Boomway carbide Forstner drill bit a quick test in some different types of wood including some Southern Yellow pine, White Oak and Hickory. Drills like a champ. And with the carbide cutting edges it should stay sharp many times longer than a HSS bit. Comes in a nice plastic tube to protect it during shipping and to store it safely when not being used. And at $12.29 the price was very reasonable for a carbide tipped tool.
