There are quite a few Pentax K adapters to RF mount cameras, some more expensive than this one. Vintage pentax lenses have a certain allure, like the 50mm f/1.4 (8-element) with the signature bokeh. Anyway, I had about 3 Pentax lenses so I wanted a cheap adapter, one for each lens. I ended up buying the Fotasy and they fit all the lenses well. I only had one of them that seemed tighter than the others on the lens side but with vintage lenses, you never know, it could be the lens that is slightly out-of-round. That also meant releasing the lens from the adapter was bit more "sticky" than most but I rarely had to dismount the adapter from the lens. Anyway, on the RF camera side, the adapter fit perfetctly, no tightness at all. I would rather have three adapters for three lenses rather than one adapter I would have to transfer all the time. At this price piont, Fotasy made it worth it. Would buy again from this company.

I purchased this so that I could use my old manual lenses from years ago. I have some older, good quality K-Mount lenses that I want to use with my Canon R10 and this product fit the bill. The connection at the lens is very stiff but I would rather that than loose. Since I'm not changing out the lens on the adapter, very often, it's not a hue deal. Connection to the camera is not stiff but nice and snug. This product is more affordable than some of the competition and there is really no quality disadvantage. I recommend it highly.

The build quality of this adapter is excellent. It connects securely to both the camera and the lens, and it performs flawlessly. Keep in mind, this adapter is designed specifically for older manual lenses. As such, it is a precisely engineered metal ring with no electronic components—there is no communication between the camera and the lens, and it does not support autofocus. However, it is an ideal solution for using vintage manual lenses on modern cameras. Just be sure to adjust your camera settings to allow operation without a detected lens, and note that you will need to focus and set the aperture manually.

The fit is poor. It’s very difficult to couple my lenses to it

Works well to adapt a Pentax-M mount lens to my Canon R. Good value for money.

As a manual adapter, it should be known that when using Fotasy's Film lens to mirrorless body adapters, you will need to go to your settings and select the camera to release the shutter without lenses attached. It's secure, the price is amazing, and it looks fine but, one problem I've always had with Fotasy's adapters is of how incredibly tight it is for the film lenses you are putting on this thing. It practically suffocates the poor thing, to the point where I always check for scratches after struggling to grasp the lenses out, all while following the manual's instructions, holding the sticky lens release switch as far down as I can. Since these are 40+ year old lenses, I try to not take them out from the adapter too much due to this issue. But if you are worried about the camera body, there are absolutely no issues, it slides in smoothly.

The adapter is sturdy, fits well onto the camera. The only downside I've found is that my Pentax lenses can be a bit tight to get on and off the adapter.
