K&F Concept Auto Focus lens adapter for Canon EF lens to Canon EOS R camera

EDIT: After contacting customer service thru email and explaining the situation, they mailed over another copy of their product and the new adapter worked. Autofocus worked and I was able to adjust aperture smoothly like any other lens with the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 IIIThe only difference that I noticed between my copy from Amazon and the copy sent over directly from K&F was that the Amazon copy didn’t come with the small hex key adjuster. This leads me to assume that my Amazon copy might’ve been a returned and defective product.If you’re like me and the product doesn’t work and you can’t get Amazon to exchange it, go thru directly to K&F. They’ll work with you and that’s a plus in my book!Original: This adapter does not work with Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 III and Canon EOS RP. When connected, camera settings show MF only, no AF or aperture control.The adapter works well with a Sigma 28mm f/1.4 ART lens, so this may be an issue with Canon lens compatibility (which would severely limit the adapter's usefulness).I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS ADAPTER

I have tested this on two cameras, an EOS R and an EOS R7. Both cameras have the same issue this adapter. After taking a few shots, powering off the camera, changing lenses, and then powering on the camera, the camera does not respond as of there is no power. The battery is fully charged and I have tested with two other batteries with the same result. The item itself seems well-made although the mount side of the adapter for the lenses is somewhat tight.For some reason, communication between the camera and this adapter gets lost.UPDATE: I received a message from K&F customer service. They were concerned about my issue and replaced the adapter with a new one that functions far better. Not only that, but I want to point out that their packaging of the product is great, much better than most sellers. Their customer service is excellent. It's rare these days to receive such personalized service from a seller. They respond quickly to my messages and kept me updated as to the shipping of a new adapter.

For some reason I have to write this review again. Adapter did not come with a tool but had space in the package for it. The adapter also wasn’t shrink wrapped so it either means it was an open box and not new like advertised or a fake product, which is known to find fake products on here. Actually using the adapter was the reason I returned it. Every time I switched lenses the camera would not turn on. I had to take the battery out and put it back in to before I could use it. Iran is faulty, i returned it and bought another one from somewhere else and it was shrink wrapped and came with a tool, and guess what it worked 100%.

It works perfectly and is not expensive and very easy to use and the auto focus works well and fits the R100

I love this product! It is exactly like the on brand version, however, with a different name! It’s built, sturdy and tough, and it also has the protracted part for any gimbals to further assist with equilibrium. I love it.

I got this adapter to mount the only EF nifty-fifty lens that I own on my Canon EOS R100 camera. The adapter does the job, autofocus works, and transmits EXIF information. No issues mounting the adapter to the camera or mounting the lens to the adapter.The adapter with end caps came in a nice box with an allen key wrench and a user manual. The tripod foot can be detached. The adapter is made of metal, looks and feels nice but does not have weather sealing. It weighs around 150g. So, works well with a light lens on the compact body.I prefer using native mount lenses. I also shoot with Nikon Z and Sony mirrorless cameras. So, for occasional use, this adapter works. Reliability is unknown at this time. Over the years, I have got a lot of K&F products, they all have turned out good and hope this one will as well.

La camara despues de cambiar de lente se queda apagada, hay que sacar la bateria para que pueda funcionar de nuevo. además la montura para el lente es muy ajustada hay que hacer mucha fuerza para apretar y para sacar es muy mas complicado. lo he preobado con el 50mm Ef de canon y el 24-70 Ef de sigma. es escrito a soporte tecnico y no responden.

I recently bought a Canon R10 and needed an adapter - didn't want to pay full price for a Canon one, didn't want to get a used one, especially when this is available brand new for cheaper than most used options.Its a full metal build from the feel of it, a bit weighty but feels super solid. No performance different in any of EF lenses either. They perform just like they used to on my old EF mount camera.Save yourself some money and just grab this instead of the canon one. K&F did good on this one!

Using R6 MkII, adaptor slotted into place well and feels very secure. Using with 2 EF lenses about 20 years old and works well. I had to clean the gold connectors on one of the lenses to get the auto focus working but all good since then

This works perfectly with my Canon R50 body and the EF lens. Beautiful packing too. A great alternative adapter.

Af works like the original, the build is nicer than the canon one in my opinion. If it had weather sealing it would be nicer and a no brainer. It has 4 stars because there is slight play in the adapter, this is mainly from the ef side. It doesn’t affect usage, just a feel and ascetics thing. Apart from that would recommend this adapter as a good alternative to the canon. Would rather save the 90 and buy this for sure.

Does not properly connect to the lens and therefore does not provide auto focus or activation of the shutter. I am an experienced photographer and I know how to connect these things…. This does not make a connection.
