This is a great tool to keep in you car, I've never used a scanner but this scanner was self explanatory plug it in hit ok and it will give you the codes that are causing your check engine light to light up, you can also press on the code and then scanner will give you a brief description of the problem and how to fix it, it also will clear all codes for a fresh scan to see if you have fix the issues great easy tool to have and the software updates are free they supplied the correct cord to plug into your computer or laptop to install the new updated firmware when needed. I've dropped it a few times the durability is awesome not a scratch on it..

This code reader has been fantastic. As a Smog Technician, I use it on every vehicle to make check the status of the monitors. It’s easy to navigate, and would be useful and a generic code reader, if a check engine light appeared. I saw some live data but have not needed to use it yet. Overall I would recommend this to anyone looking to read codes when a check engine light is present.

This code scanner comes without a physical user manual; this makes its use next to impossible for people who never used a scanner. Fortunately, there are good online tutorials available. To add a manual for gadgets like this one, detailed manuals should be obligatory.

The throttle position sensor on my Yamaha motorcycle was faulty and needed to be replaced. Yamaha claims their "special tool" was needed. The live data streaming allowed me to install and set the sensor without taking it to the dealer. Because of the labour to remove parts to get to the sensor the cost would have been minimum $400.00! It took me about 2 hours to do the job with this code reader and put the bike back together! Money well spent...easy to use...and great quality.

Serves purpose, but I feel it’s costly. Now a days small BLUETOOTH OBD devices with app on your phone, does more or less similar work.
