I like the stud finder. It's simple and easy to use. If you're using it to locate a stud to hang something on the wall, then it is good for around the house. This is not a fancy, professional model, that detect wires and other objects. It's easy and simple to use for around the house

I use a stud finder all the time and when my old stud finder finally gave up, I bought the Franklin ProSencer M70 and I can't believe how easy it is to use, I just finished a master closet and M70 found the center of every stud I had to mount to. This is definitely a great tool to own.

I purchased the 7-sensor stud finder so I can find the studs in my walls for a few projects I hope to be working on around the house soon. I had some issues with it due to some bad batteries at first but after changing them out it's worked more or less how I would expect it to.You can run your finger across the back of it to make sure the product is working correctly. The only complaint I have about the product is sometimes it makes the stud out to be larger than it actually is but this has only happened twice so far. I've marked a few spots with tape and the indicator seems to be reading fairly accurate. I would probably opt for one with a few more sensors but over all it does what I need it to do.It uses two AAA (Triple A) batteries that are housed inside the black strip across the handle. When pressing the button it should flash the lights but if it doesn't and you aren't sure if it's working, like I said, just hold the button and slowly run your finger across the bottom of the device.

It makes sense to have multiple lights on any stud finder. I have some that are much wider but are too big and unnecessary. This small, 7 sensor is perfect. I have one in the shop, one in the house and gave them to my sons.

This product is magic incredible the best thing in stud finder. If Bugatti was to make a stud finder this will be it ðŸ‘ðŸ½Top of the line #1 I totally recommend this product you won’t regret it.

Fairly intuitive to use but not always reliable/trustworthy. My first time using it I was determined to screw smack dab in the middle of the stud so I moved the finder around until I had struck gold and got the green light. Little did I know that the stud finder also finds wires and I screwed right into the wire. Good little stud finder but could use a few more features so you know what you’re screwing with.

Love that it lets you “see “ both sides of the stud easily just by sliding the finder one direction

This actually works rather well, unlike most you can buy. You still need to figure out what the results mean but, when the centre red led turns green, you really are over the centre of the stud. Only detects studs, so a pipe/cable detector is still useful but these work ok on most others,

I previously owned the larger and more expensive Franklin stud finder (which had a built in level). I seemed to have misplaced it so I bought this smaller and much cheaper one as a replacement. I was very surprised at how much I liked it. It has a green light in the middle to highlight the center of the stud and red lights to highlight the edges. It's actually perfect! It does the same job as the large one (minus the leveling) at half the price. I haven't been this happy with a product purchase in a long time. I thought I downgraded but it doesn't feel like it.

This is superb, so easy to use. It has been put to good use in my property and has helped me to find multiple wooden batons in the walls for securing tv wall brackets. It also easily detects electrical cables. Please be aware that it does not come with batteries, AA are required.

it's more affordable and does the job like other models, it can accurately detect studs behind drywall.
