Good quality product as Freud stuff always is. I bought this for making a small detail between the cabinet box and face frame where they are flush. Its better than trying to flush them out and sand (especially with stain grade stuff and veneer plywood boxes!)I unfortunately found that the groove it makes is a little too wide for my taste. Im looking for a smaller, less noticeable groove which I ended up getting from a V groove bit. But not a 45 degree bit, a 60 degree bit by Milescraft that I also got on amazon. It was JUST what the doctor ordered. Even though this bit didnt fit the bill for my particular project, its no fault of Freud's. Just know that you are going to get an 1/8" wide groove with this bit and its not adjustable. With the V groove bit, you can set the depth and get about a 1/16" wide groove. I wanted it to look like the sharp milled edges of the face frame/cabinet side were just brushed by hand with a piece of 180 grit sandpaper.

Good bit, bearing wears out before the bit loses its sharpness.

This router bit works exactly as it is supposed to for detailing the joint between face frames and sides. of cabinets, bookcases, etc.

Very solid tough bit. It feels sturdy in my router unlike other bits that I don't trust on finer work.
