a bunch of black dust comes off and out of these things, not sure if it's safe for food. I'll stick to orange peels for my stinky fridge

Ordered these because of a persistent smell in fridge and freezer, honestly didn't expect much. Put one in fridge and one in freezer, after 4 days the smell is gone. These were cheap and very effective. Definitely worth trying if baking powder has not worked.
