Firstly, super cute. The kitties tolerated these so well, much better than the standard e-collar sent home after their procedure. At least mine had some difficulty keeping them clean, but they were easy to either toss in the washer or spray/wipe down.I do recommend tying a knot to help secure the cone in place, otherwise they can kick to loosen it, but after I did that I had no issues at all. Great product!Note: they could still reach a lot of their body, just not the important bits post spay/neuter (honestly if my boy had wanted to he could have reached around to get his bits, but overall didn't and this was enough to discourage him I think)

I have 4 cats. One of them is an escape artist. Not sure what all black, short haired cat breed Nebula is, but I call that breed "Houdinis" because he can disappear without a trace. I also live on a farm with goats. One of our darling goats *broke into* our biometrically locked house and two of our cats escaped to the outdoors. Berlioz, a Brittish Blue, decided it was too wet outside (it was January, and it was raining), but Nebula! Nebula escaped to the Under-the-House world and I couldn't find him for 24 hours. Nebula is only 2.5 years old and was hand-raised/bottle fed as a newborn. Still, he thinks he's an outdoor cat.Anyway! To make a long story longer, it was about two nights after I got to listen to my favorite rooster get carried off by a bobcat that I'm now panic-strickenly searching for my little baby Houdini. Finally found him, had him in my arms...and then he left bruises and scratches as he leapt out of my arms and ran under the house. Our office is a root cellar type room, so I closed the door to the main part of the house and opened the exterior door and waited. Nebs finally came in and I was able to secure the door. I noted a weeping brush-burn like wound on his left hind leg and did nothing... until about a month later when it wasn't healed and looking kinda bad and I suddenly had what looked like a mild ringworm infection on my right hand (that he likes to lay on). Vet called, appointment scheduled, these soft cones ordered! I put the avocado on Nebs and, unsurprisingly, I was more amused by it than he was. Still, he managed to keep it on for a good while. Took him in and... no ringworm, but we *DID* find an extremely tiny piece of copper lodged in his skin. It was only visible under a UV light with magnification.Vet suggested I keep the soft cone on him, but thought he looked pretty bendy and could probably still reach the wound to lick it... Get a normal cone, just in case. By the time the normal cone would have been needed, Nebs Houdini'd his way out of the avocado and the wound was about 85% healed. These are super cute and very useful. 10/10 do recommend.

Cleanable and apparently comfortable enough, but never should have been unevenly shaped. I got these to prevent my cat from scratching his eyes and ears. within 20 minutes he had figured out how to get around the thin side of the design.Bought us a few extra seconds every time he went to scratch, but we were still on 24-hour watch. If these had been the same width all the way around like a donut rather than a slice of bread, I'd imagine they would have worked fine. Ended up with another "flowery" product that was circular. Much happier with that.

Its cute, comfortable and easy to put on, take off and clean.Only problem is that it doesn't work particularly well. My cat had a skin issue and was compulsively licking her hair off, but she was able to reach her behind/tail while wearing these. I actually had to put both on her at once to almost achieve the desired effect.Unexpectedly, my cat likes wearing them, and naps easily and happily while wearing one or even both.

Our little kitty had her spay surgery Monday and they gave her the awful plastic cone. She fought it hard, so I bought these that night and they arrived on Tuesday afternoon. She doesn't always appreciate having thses on, but she tolerates them way better than the cone. Plus we get ridiculously cute pictures!

Though these are super soft and so cute on the cat,but they loosen so the cat can easily remove them. We purchased these weeks early to use when our 2 cats were neutered. Within an hour they both had them off. You can tighten these easily but they loosen as the cat moves around which renders these useless. Complete waist of money. We tried to be proactive and purchase in advance but the return window closes in 30 days so be careful not to purchase too far in advance as we did.

Cute collar for cats/dogs who have had surgery to prevent them from licking at sutures. But beware, if you have smart cat, as I have, they can finagle it off their neck. But it sure beats that ugly cone that Veterinarians will place on your animal to prevent licking.

1000x recommended !!As a member of the cat rescue community I have a herd of cats at all times. This little guy was scraped off the streets of Culebra Puerto Rico. He had lots of open wounds and bare spots from street life.Knowing a traditional cone would probably be terrifying to a recently not ferrel cat I opted for this because it was soft and wouldn’t make any noises or be stiff.I cannot say enough about how brilliant this design is! The part of the collar that cinches is super soft and stretchy. The cinch is tight but not to long or cumbersome. The softness makes it comfy for kitty and allows them to continue to move around and play down in a normal fashion. The shape of the avocado is perfect for comfort and prevention of licking.
