Luxaire PBNU-LD12W100D furnace was not igniting. Exhaust fan would come on, gas would open up a few seconds and the flame would light and then shut off and the cycle would repeat about 3 times before it gave up. Installed this part in about 3 minutes and now it works perfectly. Install was really simple. Brought my furnace back to life. Had tried to clean my old part with sandpaper first but that didn't work. $25 part saved me a big service call charge.

the white base portion is slightly wider than the OG part but the bracket around it slid down enough to fasten it securely and is working fine

I researched the problem with my furnance not staying on and it pointed to this item as a possible cause. So I purchased this item but didn't get around to installing it because my furnance was still working ok. We recently had a blast of cold weather in the Midwest. I woke up during one of the coldest nights to discover my furnance had gone out! thought I would have to call a emergency repairman in the morning then remembered I brought this part. I turned off power to the furnance and intalled this part. It was super easy to intall but I still took my time. I turned my furnance back on and it fired right up. I waited until the house warmed up and went back to bed. The price for the part was well worth it as it saved me a ton of money on a emergency repairman and the install took me less than 15 minutes.
