Our cats love that little red dot! But the flashlight on this is like a miniature spotlight and the cats are fascinated. The blacklight throws them completely, they're so confused by it. It's awesome to watch. But everyone in my house loves talking turns running the three cats around and the little mouse toy it comes with is surprisingly captivating for one of my cats.My teenager is just thrilled with the different laser shapes and likes to switch out between them for the cats.The recharging is a snap you just pull the end cap off (the side with the wrist ribbon) and there's the usb charger. Plug it into your computer or USB wall charger and give it an hour or so and it's ready for your cars to chase around the house again. It's a nice bright laser point too so it's easy for the cats to see.I used to buy the little laser pointers from the Dollar Tree but they ran out so quickly, it was difficult to find batteries for, and it just seemed so wasteful. With this, no batteries needed. Just charge and it's endless fun for everyone homebound with animals.

The cats absolutely love it. It's bright enough to be visible even with daylight shining in yet isnt so bright you worry about blinding the cat if it accidentally catches the laser in the eye for a split second. Our cats have flown up walls to try to catch it and now seem to beg for it. No joke.Any way the battery lasts much longer than expected and longer than any simple laser pointers out there and best of all its rechargeable.The little flashlights on it are sort of nice bright enough to be useful but definitely no helicopter search light. The only problem I have is when clicking or sliding the power button, the cats can hear that subtle sound and immediately think I'm turning on the laser.The free toy was stolen by one of our cats almost immediately so I have no idea how it's doing.

My cat's absolutely adore it, the reason I'm giving it 4 instead 5 stars is because the stretchy string is easily chewed apart and breaks. My cat's fault but I wish it was a little sturdier.

works really well. we mostly use the laser dot (as opposed to the butterfly and other shapes) since the laser can project the furthest and most consistently. the other shapes get blurry the further away you are trying to project.great way to tire our 6-month old kitten before we go to bed! i sometimes wonder if chasing the laser is more frustrating than fun since he gets it so many times but there's never a tangible thing to wrestle lolwe chose this laser instead of getting one at the store because it's rechargeable (though we haven't needed to recharge it yet - battery life has been good).he also likes the mouse toy that came with the laser! it sounds like a maraca and has held up during playtime.overall, would recommend!

I bought this for my two cats who are obsessed with laser toys. I love that this takes NO batteries, and is rechargeable using a USB. My cats will play for hours if I let them. I love the different images and not just a red dot although the dot is my cats favorite. There is also a flashlight and I was surprised how bright it is. There is also a clip like on a pen so you can attach it to a pen loop or your shirt collar. And there is a loop so you can loop it on your wrist if you want. This is hands down the best laser you I've bought for my cats and the price is pretty good too. This also came with a sisal mouse that my boy cat immediately took off with to hide and play with. I was pleased with the size of this mouse toy. It isn't small.

Not so great for our home. Toy itself not well made and cat ended up ingesting part of it. Had to toss both. Sorry just didn't work for us, made my kitten sick.

Exceptional value for the money in this package. Really nice, bright spotlight type flashlight, a uv light, and the red laser with several different options of icons (I just use the red dot though as a laser of this price point can’t be expected to be very crisply focused).Cats love it. It’s a great size and you can charge it by USB, so no need to keep extra batteries for it.Hard to imagine anything better being had at this price point.

Only thing is because there are different pointers for the red light, a bit of overcast I guess you would call it goes out when it's clicked to a shape, but you can rectify this by moving the dial a little bit past the click. Other than that works great and usb charge was a great feature.
