String is already tied to it and does not stretch from what I can tell. Easy to read just have to look on an angle for some numbers.

It is not accurate by the pound, but did a good enough job to tell me my old stringing machine needed a replacement. You can check the calibrator, by hanging dumbell disk of 25lbs on it and 35lbs and mine read fine.All together a good product.

As far as I can tell it's accurate, but I don't have anything else to verify it. I used it on a brand new lockout stringer that was calibrated at the factory and it was dead on. I would assume the factory calibrated the stringer accurately so it seems like the Gamma calibrator works perfectly.

I use this to calibrate my gamma stringing machine.It its VERY WELL BUILT! It's fairly heavy for it's size. It was dead on (measurement wise).A definite must have if you're stringing your own racquets.

Price is ok and easy to use. Good for tension below 50 lbs, Above 50lbs will have some tolerance to adjust

The gamma tension calibrator is very useful to have along with your string machine. used it once I received it and learned my crank tensioner was accurate. The calibrator does not come with any instructions but I guess it is self explanatory. Just be careful to make sure your clamps are tight enough before adding tension or the strings will slip

Hello, I was very sceptical about the 10$ balance that I got from Walmart. So I decided to buy the Gamma Mtc00 Tension Titane. I use a Pro Stringer Platimum Machine to stinging my rackets.My first test shows a real gap between the Gamma and my stringing machine. Each tests was about 5 lbs to 10 lbs more than what I set up on my Pro Stringer.Such a gap, that I thought for a minute that my Pro Stringer had a big problem. But before contacting my seller at Pro Stringer, I put my 10 bucks Walmart balance to the test.You can see the results in the photo.Stringing machine set to 58 lbsWalmart balance shows 60 lbsGamma Tension shows 65 lbs and moreI really don’t understand.
