Friendly tips:

Chooba quiet garbage disposal 3/4 horse power includes 2 type accessories for dishwasher connection hole:
- Dishwasher connector plug cap: when you don't need to connect the dishwasher, you can just easily give it a twist to screw the cap in.
- Dishwasher inlet connection: when you try to connect the dishwasher to our food waste disposer, just screw the inlet connector in, then connect your dishwasher drain hose. Fast and easy to set up!

This disposal is very quiet. Very powerful and a good value. The only issue is the elbow drain pipe that is provided is not the standard size. It is too big to accept the standard PVC plumbing pipe. We contacted the seller and we were provided with the correct size pipe.The seller responded quickly to my request and my other questions.

**Update** The replacement unit for the first one that went bad has been great.Update 2 - over a year later and it is still working great. Super quiet and takes care of food without any issues.Update 3 - Still works just like the day we bought it. It is also easy to clean and does a good job of moving the food out. It almost never smells like so many other disposals I've had. I will definitely buy this brand in the future.

I like everything about this disposal — used to do Kitchen appliance repair — it’s been awhile, back in the 70’s — not much has changed in all of those years with disposals — this model does have a few improvements — the splash guard is more robust, the stopper has a tongue depressor for hands free feeding, no need for plumbers putty, the outlet drain and the dishwasher inlet are separate fittings with O- rings, the power cord has a right angle boot on it so it’s easier to get the cord out of the way, the quiet DC motor changes speeds according to the load and the water with the waist is essentially pumped down the drain — some of the more familiar brands may have some of these features but I don’t think they have all of them — almost forgot to mention the motor reverses every cycle so the inside stays cleaner with less chance of jams — it does have the familiar square red reset button and hex headed fitting on the bottom to turn the motor shaft for jam removal — I do miss the removable splash guard — when I had that feature some years ago it was easy to pull it out to clean under it (that’s where the odors come from) — it will be interesting to see in a few months to see if there is less build up with the motor reverse function and the splash guard bottom having less places for the waist to build up — the grinding chamber is something new to me as well but I haven’t really investigated the improvements — If you haven’t noticed I am extremely pleased that I ordered this and installed it in my Kitchen

It was super easy to install. I had to shorten a piece of the pvc to make it line up because the pipe that connects to the drain came out like 5 inches further than the old one, but no big deal. It went in exactly the same way the old one came out. I didn't have to replace the drain piece, but since it came with it, I figured why not. The old one was pretty worn out. When I turned it on to test it, I had to look down the drain to see if it was spinning because I could barely hear it. It is considerably more quiet than the old one. All you hear is a little hum. I seriously thought it wasn't turning or it was ceasing. Nope it's just quiet. Well worth the money. It was less than the cheapest one at Lowe's and twice the HP.

20-30 minutes installUpgrade from 1/2 to 3/4 HP.1/2 HP was flange but took compression off the drain line they gave me threw away cut my pipe installed the compression on it and bam there it isNoise level is lower than my 1/2 HP old one,Haven't used it yet other than testing for leaks. Seems good think it was a good buy...Right on...

I purchased this disposal on Jan 16, 2023. The description claims it can chop up small bones, while I would never do that it was nice to think it had that much power. Yet it appears a bearing went out and is jamming on nothing but onions. Amazon is the only one issuing refunds and it’s only for 30 days. Buyer beware!! No warranty and the manufacturer doesn’t have a customer service line. I have an expensive mistake.

This disposal not only looks good under the sink, it sufficiently gets the job done! The 3/4 hp makes a whole orange disappear in seconds and isn’t phased by chunks of ice.Super happy with the product!

Install was fairly easy. I did have to cut the plug off and wire it directly instead of plug in. But it was easy. The install and parts fit directly and easily to my sink. Works like a charm.
