We remodeled our kitchen and we put this as a replacement instead of using the switch as a garbage disposal. All I have to do is press the button and the garbage disposal works. It was also really affordable. If you go to hardware stores nearby those are really expensive and you cannot find them and on Amazon you can definitely find them.

This air switch was easy to set up and works good. The power adapter is big for my tight space and barely fits between the outlet and a pipe running below the outlet. The stainless steel button does get finger prints but wipes up shiny clean. Very happy this worked and I don't have to open a cupboard door everytime I use the garbage disposal.

This product is a clear advantage over having a switch either on the backslash or in the cabinet. It is small discreet and quiet. It is a good value for the money and simple to install.

This review is for the black 4 button wireless model with magnetic base:So I decided to bite the bullet and try drilling my granite countertop myself and install an air switch. Well using a wireless option instead never crossed my mind, and just found out about it via this listing. I went with this one compared to others as listed as supporting up to 2 horsepower models. (Mine came with the house, so I don't know my horsepower, but working fine with whatever my in-sink-erator model is)I have smart plugs I could have used, but with safety concerns like needing to immediately shut it off via Alexa sounded like a bad idea. Well this product eliminates all that with its wireless remote. I like the 30/60 seconds being an option that was not on the newer model, so I went with the older one. As a suggestion, a 15 second and a 30 second might be more useful on a future model, but I like the pretty much instant on/off response from the remote. Remote came paired out of the box, so no setup was necessary...just plug it in and away you go!Looking at reviews and questions before purchase, I would like to clear up that there IS a replaceable battery in the remote for this model. There is a battery cover on the back of the remote itself. Not sure how much of the confusion is the Amazon listing including the air switch models in the same listing, or people looking at the back of the magnetic base without first separating it from the remote.

Este interruptor me lo instalaron para accionar el triturador. Como trabaja con aire previene que no haya accidentes como serÃa el caso de utilizar un interruptor con corriente eléctrica directa que siempre se corre el riesgo de que le penetre agua con el consabido riesgo.
