I purchased this because under my kitchen sink there is a electrical outlet but it is constantly on and there is no switch. I did not want to have to hire electrician to come out to drill holes and pay all that. So I thought maybe there is a wireless solution.The setup for this is super simple as you just plug the thing to your outlet, plug your applicable into it, and then use the included remote switch to turn off and on. I tested a few things though: 1) how quick it could turn on and off something without delay - it passed and no delay i could observe. and 2) range from wall outlet to actual position of the switch. It passed here too. I also, moved into another room and was able to still turn off and on. This is important for other potential buyers as many will want to use it for longer distances to turn off and on as I do plan to buy another for just this reason.Next is build quality.. The piece you plug into the wall is a little bulky but it fits well in the outlet i installed that was in pretty tight quarters with pipe/stuff around it. It seems very sturdy. The remote switch itself is bigger then I had expected - maybe little smaller then bottom of coke can. However, I do like the light in center that comes on when you turn off/on. The buttons are very responsive.You can place it anywhere basically and should the long lasting battery ever die, you can easily replace it yourself.So, for my application, it was perfect and obviously there is a ton more you can use this for. I just wanted something that I felt would fit in the space I had to place the unit, it was long lasting on battery, and the adapter that goes into the wall outlet would fit in the tight space. This product fit all my needs.

Love that it is magnetic. All our other ones would rust due to the water. Place it on fridge and works great. Easy to installs

Had an old convoluted switch for garbage disposal - new remodel covered up switch - found this, which perfectly solved the problem - works well!

Very easy install.Though I do not recommend submerging any part of this product, my experience has shown that it did not malfunction after several severe splashes. I'm glad I bought this.
