Well I’ve had this auger now for about four months, have used it on about 30 holes myself to plant a privacy hedge of arborvitae, green giants. Might neighbor also used it for about 50 holes and it performed great!The main difference between say this auger and some of the other offerings that are $50-$75 cheaper is the construction. If you look at some of the cheaper ones, the black metal auger bits they come with have significantly thinner metal than the orange or red ones you see listed on Amazon and eBay. This auger is not only powerful, but easy to start, and also has the higher quality bit that came with it.Lastly, it has a “kickback spring†to protect your wrists God forbid this thing hits a big rock or root. All in all, very pleased with the purchase and can say fairly confidently now that the Gardentraxx name is synonymous with quality.A+++++

Has the perfect amount of power not over powered, not under powered.cuts the ground very well.easy to start.it was packaged very very well.side note - clean small roots off of the cutting edge and it will continue to work like new. this is a very well built unit.

My husband Loves this auger! It makes all of his weekend digging projects much easier! Last week he put up a fence and was able to dig the posts for the fence in a matter of minutes!High quality and was easy to assemble!

Only used this for 2 holes so far in pretty sandy soil but it worked very well. Easy to assemble, easy to start, runs smooth and quiet, pretty lightweight. No complaints so far.
