I think I enjoy typing on this more than I enjoy typing on the whale switches. These are basically light tactiles, and the closest to these are gateron browns. They have more or less the same feel, albeit a hair heavier, on the good side. The browns tend to be error prone, but these are what the brown should have wrt spring weight. The only thing holding these back is that they don't have the crispest of bottom outs. If you look hard enough, they are just that slight bit damped on the bottom out feel wise. That's to be expected since they are silent, and I think there's literally no point complaining about it. Just acknowledge that it's going to be there in a silent switch and move on. Sound wise, I think these definitely do a better job than most other silent switches out thereSpring ping: I can hear some ping here and there. The issue is that the spring ping makes the switch feel like it's not lubed, but the switch is actually lubed. it's smooth, just that there's some crunch/ping. I think some people enjoy the ping and the crunch, I don't think that it's for me. I will take these apart to atleast bag lube the springs and lube the leaf with some 203g0 (!sigh!)....was really hoping I would not have to..but, for the way the switch is, I think this is the switch that I will stay with atleast for the foreseeable future. So I guess I have to..Sound: The switch is well damped, and I am confident that my coworkers will not complain about this one. We have a couple of people typing away on browns and blacks, and they are loud. These are definitely not the most silent switch, since the ping and crunch do raise their ugly heads here and there, but overall, I think this is as silent as most logitech membrane keyboards that we get at work, if not quiter. Just make sure that the stabs on your keyboard are fixed (lubed & clipped if needed) so that you won't hear your stabs over the switches. With some good dampening on your keyboard and fixed stabilizers, I think these switches would make for a pretty solid keyboard for the office which you will enjoy typing on (I do, atleast!)Appearance/RGB: This is where I have the least experience, since the backlight is turned off for me. The first thing I do when I complete a build is to find out how to turn the RGB off, lol! The apprearance is not a big factor for me either, since my builds are mostly black-ish. They do have a pretty clear upper & lower housing and the bright ping stems look nice IMO!Overall, I think that this is the perfect silent tactile switch for me! I am going to hold on to the silent whale switches that I have, but I don't think that my work board is changing atleast for now. If you are in the market for some silent linears, do give the frozen silent switches a try! I hate silent linears since they are mushy, and they don't even have the tactility that a good membrane keyboard will have. However, the frozen silents are different, in which they feel pretty solid and firm, and they have a consistent feel!

I have bent pins and rebent them and rebent them, only broke one. This is not a negative review, its a positive one, as its hard for me to get those switches perfectly, so I typically bend pins. Tho, these switches had pins that were better than the ones I had before. They didnt snap, well, one did, but nothing could have fixed that pin.Anyway, the switches are actually very quiet, and they are much better than the ones I had on there in the first place.
