I swapped one of my cheap gig bag case with this Gator one and its a huge upgrade! Nice and symmetrical since I play a lefty version of the Jazz Bass.

My son attends a conservatory on a large urban campus so lots of walking while toting instruments. We bought the Gator bass and electric guitar cases and he loves them. Light weight, but protective. Strong backpack straps and comfortable to wear. Extra pouches for music and accessories, and all at a good value price. He can’t imagine life without these quality, versatile bags.

The case material is sturdy, the construction quality is excellent. This is a great case and a great value. It'd be five stars, easily.But.Whomever at the company decided to be "innovative" and put this ridiculous hook thing, in place of a standard locking plastic buckle needs to be fired. Closing the flap securely over the zippered enclosure is an exercise in futility. It's loose and doesn't secure anything other than frustration. It just falls open. There's no way to make this thing latch securely. It flops open as you're carrying the case and offers no security whatsoever. What a STUPID idea.

Keeps My Ibanez SR-755 nice and safe. The padding is second to none for its price. Also fits my class D markbass head. Half my gig rig in a bag, only need to bring my cab and pedalboard separately. Worth every penny.-P.S. I work in a music store, I've seen a lot of bass gig bags from other manufacturers for similar prices that don't come near the quality of workmanship and protection these bags offer.

I was unable to locate the factory version of the gig bag for my bass and started working the net for recommendations. I found this company located in Indiana, so I decided to give my business to this company since I'm also a resident of Indiana. My bass fit well into this gig bag and it has at least as much if not more padding than the factory gig bag that experienced zipper coming out, shoulder straps tearing off, etc. Time will tell, but the construction of this gig bag is of higher quality than the factory gig bag. I'm very pleased with this product.

Good quality and worth the price. If you want something a bit lighter and well made, this is it. Think how much your bass is worth, protect it.

This is good if your not travelling far or need real protection. I am happy with this for the money for sure. But I wish I spent more on the Mono bag. It’s twice the money but twice the protection

Product seemed great for the price, even though i was not expecting the same quality i had in a case, i did, however, expect it to last more than 4 months with minimal usage, i would say i probably used it about 6-7 times, last week, before a gig, just by the handle, the material came undone, and with the exception of my ~5kg Warwick bass i only carry a backup nylon strap in the front pocket.Not impressed with the quality, i had Gator cases and they were never this badly put together. Also, because 4 months have passed i can't return it, but in fear of it breaking apart and my bass falling out of it, i can't use it either.I do not recommend this for an extra 10 quid you can get a mono sleeve, same level of support, better quality.
