Hornady makes a fine set that does the same thing. This is ½ the price and works just as well.

As a reloader and long range shooter (500-1,200 yards) it’s critical to have precise tooling. We always take a chance with aftermarket products for quality control and accuracy concerns but this one was dead on. If you have a set of these comparators it’s critical to get the set of projectile comparators and a CoL gauge so you have everything needed to know where your cartridge dimensions should be for optimal accuracy. To make things quicker I use an alcohol pen to mark each bushing as to which calibers I can use for that one bushing so I don’t have to refer to the chart each time. Hope this helps.

It is not as stable as I would have liked. It doesn't stay stable on the calipers as well as I would have liked.

This is worthless for precision reloading. It gives the wrong answer - fired 6.5 Creedmoor measures LESS than spec! When you tighten down the lock screw you can see that it TILTS the measuring bushing, showing an open gap on one side. Waste of money and my return window closed. Going in the trash. Going to buy Hornady.
