Good product that allowed me to refurbish my electric cooktop. Only drawback was that the wires weren't as long as I needed; they were about a foot short of reaching the controls. So I spliced into the existing wiring (still in acceptable condition) and used some high-temperature wire connectors, and all is well.

This was my first element receptacle replacement, and getting this kit made it super easy. I had help threading the wires from the front to the back because it can be a bit tricky to get it through the holes, but after that it's plug-and-play. Make sure you unplug your stove before you work on this. The only thing you need is a drill to remove and re-add all the screws. There are lots of videos on youtube explaining the process. Good luck!

used it for a frigidaire stove for left front burner. original recept. burnt out on new stove less than 2 years old. did not spllce in. would have been perfect if wire was at least 1/2 inch longer. had to strech to make it fit plugs in back of stove. would order again if need to replace back receptacles. would order different recpt if for front burners unless they make it longer. company should state how long the wires are or what brand stoves this part fits if for diffferent brands or if to be used only for ge brands. pretty easy repair other than length of wires

picture shows an AMP receptacle with rectangular tabs that attatch to the metal clip, which would have been the same as the original part. what I received has keyhole shaped tabs, so is slightly different. the good news is the connector is stamped TE, for TE connectivity (who own the AMP brand of connectors), so while what I received isn't exactly identical to the picture, the connector is about as high quality as you can get.If you somehow still have failures with this connector, make sure the part of the stove that this screws into isn't bent, mine was, and was probably what caused the failure in the first place.

Waste of money .It fits well with my stove coil and it is refundable for 15 days but after 25 days it sparks and terminal block melted.
