Stupidly expensive, but it did the trick. I had to bend the old one back and forth to break it off. The new one pushed on with no problem. Three stars due to too high a price.

What can I say. 17 year old dishwasher leaking on the pump shaft. For $17 thought i'd give it a try. worked. no leak and I couldn't be happier.
