We recently needed to purchase a new surge protector for our RV when they one we got from Camping World literally fried at the plug and could have started a fire. So, we needed to find one that seemed more sturdy and better made. The protector has a lid that covers the plug so protects from the elements, which we really like. At this point it is doing the job it was made to do. We are in a park that tends to have surges, so we don't want to have any issues due to a unreliable protector.

Installed on RV to help protect inverter and other electrical components. Plugs in easily and green lights illuminated, no problems with running RV.

This would get 5 stars, if it was a little smaller. A 50 amp plug and receptacle are big, but this unit and the weather cover seem to be larger than needed.Love the ability to verity the pedestal plug is wired correctly and the breakers are good before we plug in.

I'm a full timer in the motorhome. I have traveled to 18 states and 36 campgrounds. It gives me peace of mind to check the power quality before plugging the power into my RV.

This is well made and works well hopefully it will do-its job if i get a power surge or if the power hook up isn't wired properly and insure my RV appliances are protected.

After multiple electrical issues with our old camper, we learned that a common cause is power issues/surges at campgrounds. When we bought our new (to us) camper with fully functional electrics we decided to invest in a surge protector right away. This surge protector was fairly priced, with excellent reviews. Shipping/delivery was prompt, with minimal packaging and item in perfect condition. A card for 2 year warranty was included, which we didn’t expect but certainly appreciate. We had no issues plugging in at campgrounds and everything is working as expected.
