This is my fave of all rv surger protectors. Great value, durable, built beyond the quality I was expecting, functional and so easy to use. The lights are bright easy to see, looks great

Finally got to try it out. It appears to be working fine. I've had trouble with previous surge protectors heating up and melting. This one appears to be working fine and the air conditioner is running Non-Stop just about. The plugs are not hot. It is rather big though. Wish it had some sort of anti-theft device.

Heavy duty for the price and would not go camping or run a camper off of a generator without it these save your electric board which is very expensive very important lesson learned if RV grid at the park gets hit by lightning and you don't have it

It's hard to relax while camping if you're worried about costly repairs or burning down your RV due to a poor power supply. This surge protector with built-in circuit analyzer allows you to relax and enjoy your vacation.This is not an adapter; it just plugs into a 30a 125v RV socket and has the same 30a 125v socket for your RV power cable to plug into. Make sure you don't need a 50a surge protector.The unit has high build quality. Everything from the main housing to the plug fitting and the super-thick wire and insulation instill confidence. The only concern I have is that I could see myself breaking off the rain cover at its hinge if I'm careless with it, because the hinge is only plastic.I really like that the front of the circuit analyzer has clear descriptions of the different LED combinations that explain what (if any) problems there are with your 120v circuit so you don't have to dig out the manual every time you plug it in. The manual is small but it's written in clear English.The listing states that this surge protector has a waterproof cover. It shields the face of the unit from rain or sprinklers, but it is absolutely not waterproof, and it wasn't designed to be. However, the housing seems well sealed everywhere but where your RV power cable plugs into the socket, so you shouldn't have to worry about rain storms affecting it. I just wanted to point out the error in the listing's description.Overall, I think this is a very high quality unit and have no hesitation recommending it to other campers.

I bought this RV Surge Protector to use with my 30 amp camper in the rare instances where 30 amp service is not available Florida State Parks where I do most of my camping, or at other campgrounds where only 50 amp service is available.
