LS Engine Oil Cooler Bypass Cover
- Improved Racing's oil cooler bypass cover is an upgraded replacement for the factory bypass cover (OE GM part # 12577903) found on vehicles not equipped with an oil cooler from the factory.
- Also available with two 1/8" NPT ports for oil temperature sensors, or for supplying oil to a turbocharger (See part number EGM-109).
Applications
- Fits most GM Gen III and IV LS-series small block oil pans with oil cooler ports located above the oil filter.
Parts Included
- Includes an upgraded gasket made from high-temp FKM rubber bonded to aluminum for a reliable, leak-free seal.
- Includes two Class 10.9 zinc-plated steel flanged hex head mounting screws.
Ported Flow Cavity
- The bypass cover is CNC-machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum and Type II anodized in black. It features a large ported internal cavity with smooth features to improve flow characteristics when compared to the factory diecast bypass cover.
