I bought this to replace a wand that I used for years. It was a little expensive but I had bought a Gilmore brand adjustable hose nozzle a couple of years ago and was very happy with it. And i was not disappointed. Its a well made solid performer. The garden setting put out a excellent flow without to much pressure. You can water potted plants quickly without a lot of overspray. The fan and jet work well for cleaning up close while you stay at arms link away. The thumb lever is a little stiff but keeps it position once set. And the hose swivel keeps your hose from kinking while walking around. I would definitely buy again.

This watering wand is perfect for just about any watering situation. Easy to use, a good length, and the flow control is much better than the grip type. The head is movable to any needed angle, and the spray adjusts to any type that anyone could want.

Other reviewers had mentioned that this implement leaked at the hose connection. I thought that may have resulted from not screwing it onto the hose securely. Mine arrived today, I got it hooked to the hose and made sure the connection was tight, turned on the water and the darn thing leaked at the hose connection. I took it apart and upon examination I found that not only had it been sent with an O-ring for a washer, but the O-ring was damaged/crunched - enough damage to cause the leak. I have a stash of flat hose washers so I traded out the O-ring for a flat washer -- presto! no leak. Other than that it works fine.

I love this wand. It has many useful settings and its very easy to twist the head to change them. The head itself can pivot in any direction. There is also a point on the wand to swivel. I have actually been able to twist and turn it in such a way as to turn this wand into a sprinkler. I love it. I feels sturdy and quality. I'm expecting to use this for years to come.

Update 4/1/2021: The original review headline was "Spend the extra dollars for a much nicer nozzle"I purchased this in August 2020 and it was virtually the best hose nozzle i'd ever bought. The swivel function was clutch. So nice. And you know what? All those moving parts broke. It started leaking at the end of the season last year, and now just sprays water out the handle where the teal rubber grip meets the harder plastic. Really disappointing, considering how stoked i was about it.Original (5-star) review: I have been through a variety of $10-$20 hose nozzles. Every one has developed a leak or outright broken, and usually fairly quickly. This nozzle seems really sturdy and so far, no leaks.The swivel head is a bonus I didn't realize I was getting! It truly prevents kinking the hose while you're lugging it around the garden.

This is a great product and I loved the swivel idea BUT day one out of the box the swivel leaks and runs water down my arm. Not that big of a deal but disappointed that the best feature on this wand failed me.

This watering wand is more expensive than some of the other models I have seen, but I believe it is worth the extra cost.I have purchased other watering wands, and they all leaked terribly even after all of the washers were replaced. This wand is well made, and it hasn't leaked.The multi-position head and the swivel handle are nice features.

I have had ever-so-many watering wands over the years and this is the best. It is very well designed, sturdy, with spray options that suit my various needs. Most of all, I didn't realize how helpful is was going to be to have a wand that swiveled at the hose end. I not longer need to wrestle with the uncooperative hose to get it turn to the angle I need. I did see that others have had trouble with the wand not working after being stored for the winter. I now see why--it is easy not to fully clear it of water before storing. I thought I had it emptied, but I swiveled the thumb dial to "open" and lots more water poured out. As an extra precaution, mine is now in the basement for the winter.
