It’s a good instrument. I’m almost satisfied. Unfortunately, all the fine tuning pegs were loose in the case. One is missing. I would consider giving a higher rating except for this problem. I live in the mountains. So I cannot just run down to the store and get a replacement.

My daughter started taking lessons, and the instructor tried her best to get the bow to engage with the strings. She used everything she was supposed to use, but the bow would not engage. It either had to be restrung or we would have to buy another bow. Ended up having to buy another bow in the company was no help, they refunded $16 because the bow was defective, we had to spend about 50 to buy a new one.

Was really excited, hoping to get back into violin. But all I got was disappointment. The tuning pegs wouldn’t stay in place and neither would the bridge no matter how it was placed on the body. The reality is, that’s what you get for paying $75. Thankfully it’s not a mistake I’ll be making again.
