03 chevy tahoe 5.3 with a summit 8707 camshaft tbss intake and LS3 throttle body. Put this stall in about a year ago to help wake the camshaft up and it did just that Had it dialed in and the truck runs stronger and this stall gets down for a daily driver truck. No complaints for the price.

Only had it in a day, but does what its supposed to do. Stalls at 2500-2600 behind a stock 4.8. Definately woke the truck up. Looser than I thought it would be. Seems to be great value for the money if it holds up a while.Edit: i now have 3000 miles on it, still working fine. I will say the flash rpm is 3000-3100, it starts to engage at 2500..it hunts for lockup under 60 mph. I have 342 gears, and I think the problem would be solved with a taller ratio rear end. I think its too much for my stock truck, but its still fun.

I bought a brand new 4l60e for my truck. Chicago transmission sent me this torque converter. Ran great with no issues about a month. After sending message through amazon they sent me a return label and said they will return funds after they receive torque converter back.

Very surprised with how tight it feels for the price of the converter. I would highly recommend especially if given a budget. It definitely gives a bit more pep! Great quality for a great price!

does what its supposed to do. lock up is solid and consistent. stall is right as stated in range with my cammed lm7 on a 4l60e. one thing to note is check your flex plate to converter gap. I had to shim both of mine 1/8" to keep the clearances just under 3/16" max. limit with a brand new pioneer flex plate.

Well ive had convertor installed in tranny, which is a 4l65e with transgo repro. Kit. Behind a 5.3 with 212/218 TSP .600 LIFT CAM, CAI, LT HEADERS, PAC 1219 SPRINGS, P AND P 706 HEADS, P AND P THROTTLE BODY, NO CATS W/TRUE DUALS X PIPE W/ 2 SINGLE CHAMBER MUFFLERS, 3.73S AND IMMA TELL YOU WHAT.... for the price which is hella sweet.... This mf truck will str8 EEEEEAAAAAATTTTTTT! COMPARED TO STOCK STALL THIS IS A NITE AND DAY DIFFERENCE, LOCK UP WORKS FINE... ALTHOUGH I HAVE HP TUNERS TO DIAL IN TORQUE CONVERTOR APPLY AND SHIFT POINTS.... SO ID ALMOST GUARANTEE YOUR GNNA BE PAYING A TUNER... IT EVEN SLIGHTLY AFFECTED IDLE SPEED.... ANYWAYS.... Got this and installed it with a 4L60 into my wife’s 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe 5.3 L. I was skeptical at first but it is working great very nice to have that tall of a stall and I what is basically stock truck it does have a small cam and exhaust etc

Converter works as it should. Installed into a stock 2005 suburban. Stall speed is definitely higher than 2500. more like 32-3500. Great if you have a cammed engine. Little much for a stock setup.
