I've made gnocchi by hand for 65 years using the back of a fork. Finally decided to treat myself to a gnocchi board and I'm so happy with it!!! This is so much better and I got two paddles, which means I can enlist help from my granddaughter who hates using the fork. The other accessories are nice to have, but probably won't get as much use. I do like the tiny rollers though and can see those coming in handy for a lot of tasks. The cutter is also well made and works well to pick up the gnocchi or other pasta. Everything is made out of bamboo and the gnocchi slide off with no snagging or sticking. This is a good buy for anyone who likes handmade pastas. I used it the day it came and made a large batch of gnocchi for lunch in a very short time. Recommend for all the grannies out there who are still using that frustrating fork!

I recently got into pasta making and bought this. Makes great garganelli. I don't have a picture of the gnocchi I made but it works perfectly for that too. I'm usually making pasta by myself, but because this comes with two boards it means sometimes I can teach my friends or family to roll pasta and it's a fun activity.

Got 2 boards which will be perfect, a wood scraper and I was suppose to get 2 rolling pins and only received one. Hopefully I can get another rolling pin to make the set and granddaughters would each have one to work with. This set hasn’t been used yet but will this week. Excited to use the set.

This is an ideal purchase if you're looking to have two people making gnocchi or garganelli at the same time, less so if you're buying just for solo use. There's nothing misleading about the description, but since I found this item while looking at others that came with multiple size dowels and boards of different textures I thought I'd note that you are receiving two matching boards and two dowels of the same size. I don't have much use for a second paddle and so will likely pass it on.The boards and rollers seem perfect for making pasta, the dough scraper less so since bamboo is much more splinter-y than traditional wood (it came with a raw edge -- could have used more sanding -- and some splinters sticking out) so I wouldn't use it for food prep. All in all I still gave 5 stars since it was not misleadingly described and I feel I got what I paid for as a traditional wooden set would be MUCH more expensive.
