I've casually enjoyed Gunpla over the years and saw GodHand recommended thousands of times. The price has always kept me away. After recently gettings some 5 pin switches for my 3 pin keyboard, I needed some flush cutters to cut away the extra pegs. I always struggled with stress marks on my Gunpla models in the past. I got the cheapest pair of nippers I could find and used them for years. They always kind of mushed and stressed the plastic more so than actually cut it. I decided that I wanted to get a nice, clean cut on the switches. It's not something that I would be seeing, but I invested a lot of time and money in my keyboard and I knew it would make me feel better to go that extra bit and really keep every detail clean and neat. My budget has come quite a ways from my high school and college days, so I figured it was time to finally give the GodHand a try, not only for my switches but just to keep around for use in general. What a difference!Right out of the packaging I instantly noticed just how nice these feel to hold and squeeze. They have nice high quality textured handles and the opening and closing movement just feels smooth and effortless. They are also quite sharp. As soon as I put them up to the first plastic peg and squeezed they just cut through like butter. Beautifully clean cut with almost no effort on my part. The sharp edge made it easy to see where I was cutting and went through the plastic better than a fresh X-ACTO knife. It's such a small thing, using nippers to cut plastic. But honestly, I was really impressed with how well these worked and how nice they felt to use. As soon as I made the first cut, I was instantly compelled to grab some unbuilt models that I've had sitting around in storage just so I could use them more.Yes, they are expensive. But if you appreciate quality and work with plastic at all, these are amazing. Do other nippers get the job done? Yes. Do they do it as well and feel as nice? Absolutely not. Don't skip out on making a car payment just to get these fancy nippers, but if you have it in your budget and feel like you'll use them often enough please do yourself a favor and pick up a pair.

The review is in the name of the nippers. The Godhand nippers are the ultimate nippers. These nippers last for years. Use the nippers as intended and they will remain sharp and will not become chipped. I suggest watching a video on proper technique for using the nippers. You may say the price seems high for model nippers but they save you time and money. You won’t have to replace these as often as some other brand nippers. The cut is very flush which will save you time on clearing the left behind nub marks which are virtually nonexistent when using these nippers.

Makes a much cleaner cut! Makes it easier to follow up with an exacto knife to remove nubs!

I’ve been using Games Workshop cutters for years since I saw no reason to spend 50+ dollars on nippers. After loosing my GW cutters I decided to pull the trigger. These make a world of difference and are worth it. If you run space Marines you know about the marks on the Heat vents on the Power Pack. These nippers cut so close and well most of the time I don’t have to clean those cuts up and they remain unnoticeable after painting.

They seem expensive at $40 +/-, but...... They are considered the best for a reason. These cut through sprues like silk and leave very little evidence of it.I would highly suggest using them only for plastic sprues... To think of ruining these by using them for wire. They are the absolute correct tool for tee job for models and gundam/gunpla. To me, it was a little splurge, at the price point. But ZERO regrets. They are godlike!

A little on the expensive part but they're probably the best nippers available for models. Cuts clean and stays sharp after dozens of models.

Initially, I balked at the $40 price tag for a set of nippers. I've used many types over the years & never gave much thought to what a difference an expensive pair might make. I decided to try these when I had gift card and, after using them on a Master Grade Gundam, I'm never going back to cheap nippers. They genuinely cut down on the time & effort expended while building a model. The cut is so smooth, there's rarely any stress marks left behind, and I don't have to spend nearly as much time filing or whittling down the remaining nibs on my parts. Single-blade makes a big difference, and the quality of that blade makes a HUGE difference. If you build models on a regular basis, you owe it to yourself to get a pair of these (or the even higher quality SPN-120.) You won't regret it.

These are a fantastic little pare of nippers. Godhand truly makes amazing modeling products, but being a Japanese company, finding accurate use information can be a pain. These nippers and the legendary SPN-120s are actually a pair to be used together. This set is mainly used for cutting the parts off of the Runner/Sprue while leaving a bit of the nub left on the part, while coming in afterwards and cleaning the nub up with the SPN-120s.These have a thicker blade than it's big brother, which can still cause stress marks if used to cut flush against the part. Don't get me wrong, you can very easily build a whole kit using nothing but these nippers, but if you buy these thinking its going to be the end all be all magic nub-mark eraser, you are wrong. As a 2 part system, the 2 nippers combined are absolutely amazing as long as you are willing to take proper care in using them correctly, but they are outrageously expensive together just for cutting runners. If you aren't planning on getting both, you would be better off just paying the extra $10-20 and buying the SPN-120s by themselves. All in all, good enough for use by itself, amazing when used as intended as a supplement to its big brother, but for the price, just don't bother unless you really have no way to pay the extra cash for the SPN-120s.

No se compara con mis nippers previas (Tamiya y de las que vienen en paquetes) corta demasiado suave y consistente.

You know when you buy something, and spend more money than perhaps you might? Then you get the product, and realise they are, in fact, and absolute bargain.I've previously used Citadel nippers for Warhammer, these are as Primarchs to common guard. The difference is that great.

Very high quality. Sturdy and easy to use. Works very well and leaves little to have to sand or cut off. Recommended for all modellers.
