I was very skeptical about these snips, but I was given an Amazon gift card for Christmas, so I decided to splurge on a really nice tool for my hobby and ordered the God Hands SPN-120 set which are intended for really fine cuts for part removal.Despite reviews I remained very skeptical as to whether or not they would prove to be any better than my Tamiya snips that I have used for years and am on my second pair of (the $40 fine tip version). I was so skeptical in fact that when the God Hands arrived I was very careful when removing them from the packaging, because if they weren't any better than the Tamiya snips then I had every intent to send them straight back to Amazon.Needless to say from the tone and title of this review, I will NOT be returning them. I removed them from the packaging, inspected them for manufacturing errors or damage, finding none I grabbed a sprue off my bench and sliced through the side runner. It was literally like a hot knife through butter. I was simply amazed, so I repeated the task a dozen times with the same results. Then I grabbed my Tamiya snips and cut the same sprue, it took at least twice the physical force to cut, and the end result was nowhere near as clean of a cut.Being the nerd that I am I took them both to my wife and had her use the Tamiya snips first, no problem, they worked as expected. Then I handed her the God Hands and had her do another cut; her response was "wow!". She then proceeded to cut the rest of the sprue into bits just because it is amazing how easy it is to do. Literally like as close to zero resistance as you can possibly get in a world subject to the laws of physics.I returned to my bench and made sure they performed as well on other brands of plastic, and in every case they cut easier and MUCH cleaner than the Tamiya snips did. Could it be that the Tamiya snips are a bit dull because of repeated use, sure; but I can without a doubt say they NEVER cut this smoothly, even on their first day out of the packaging. Will the God Hands hold up over time? No Idea. They seem to be built very well, they have a built-in stop to prevent them from opening too wide, and another to prevent you from squeezing them to hard, and they included a cover to protect the tips, but sure, they may dull over time and need to be sharpened or replaced. If that happens soon enough to me writing this review to be note worthy, then I will update the review, but for now I am simply amazed. So amazed that I decide to leave this review, and to even go the extra distance and include images to compare the two brands. The images may be grainy because they are very close images of a very small sprue, but you get the idea from them. The two with a 'T' written on them are the Tamiya snips, the three without are from the God Hands. I included head on pics as well as from the side which is better at showing how smooth the cut is.I will still use my Tamiya snips, after all they do a good job and we always need a set of snips for larger items or resin and the God Hand SPN-120s are intended for plastic only. But if the God Hands hold up then they will become a permanent tool on my bench. If you have a steady hand, and are accustomed to cutting your parts as close to the part as possible (like I do), then these will probably remove most all parts without the need for sanding.Yes, they are the most expense snips available, so they ought to work better than all others out there, but it was very nice to find that they do indeed perform as advertised.

Hah... hah hah hah. HAHAHHAHA WOW. Holy smokes! So I have been building Warhammer models for almost a decade now and I have built somewhere over a thousand models. Who knows how many hours spent carefully snipping models from sprues, cleaning mold lines, and gluing them together. I know my way around a sprue.I recently received some Amazon gift cards and decided to treat myself to some new nippers as my old pair (Xuron) have been in steady use for many years and they got the job done... and they are fine, really, but I didn't have anything else I really NEEDED so I decided to splurge on these and see if there was really a $40 difference between standard nippers and God Hands. I was skeptical about how different these could possibly be over my old ones. I mean... they're flush cutters.. how big of a change could there possibly be?After opening the God Hands, I tried snipping a spare piece of sprue that I had lying around and. WTAF. I literally giggled at how smooth the cut was. It was completely effortless and silent. No "click" when the piece is cut... just a ridiculously clean slice. I pulled out my old snips and cut the sprue just to test them against each other. The old ones left obvious stress marks on the plastic from the pinching and made the familiar audible snapping sound when cutting through. The new God Hands nippers just slide through the plastic leaving no stress marks and making no sound. Its F-ing uncanny. Almost creepy how smooth and effortless.So. Yeah, I am sold. These things are so vastly superior to my old snips... even after a couple of test cuts, it is obvious that there is no going back. If you build models frequently, you need these things. They are expensive, but you get what you pay for in this case.Would buy again. 10/10

These are the best model nippers I have ever owned. The single sharp blade on the GodHand SPN 120 cut through plastic with precision leaving minimal stress marks on your models. I originally purchased them two years ago and they were used to build dozens of Gunpla kits. They stayed sharp and were in perfect condition until I dropped them off my kitchen counter. This caused the blade to slightly bend. Regardless, I was fine with buying a new pair because they do such a great job. So, if you’re considering a new pair of GodHand nippers, but are unsure of the high price tag, they are definitely worth the price. You will not regret the purchase. Be mindful of maintenance and storage and they can last you indefinitely.

Was using nippers from the paint set from Games Workshop but these are a different level. It’s like a hot knife through warm butter. Cleanest cuts and minimal sanding to get a nice looking piece. These nippers are top of the line. Worth the cost.

The good: Cuts smoothe with minimum effort, leaves a shiny surface when used to shave nubs off with no stress marks. Youtube has a nice instruction video on how to cut with the first nip, and shave with the second. If you can afford them, they're time savers and will up your game. The bad: The price. For half the price, you can get something comperable. I still needed to use a hobby knife for some nubs, though not as much since these nippers did most of the job for me.The ugly: The nippers i received had either a burn, or rust mark on them (pictured). This may affect the longevity of my pair since impurities like rust weakens metal and the blade is so thin. I added a couple of drops of dry lube to see if it would help, but could not remove it with a Qtip. Rust colored stuff came out from the pivot point when i added lubricant, making me think that they are probably not stored properly prior to arriving to the end user.

Seriously the best nippers. I'm sure there are great competitors out there that I haven't tried yet but so far this is the only pair I need after I switched to them.

These are a game changer for people who like to model. They work so much better than my previous clippers and save so much time. Well worth the money. The quality is excellent! If you have someone who builds models, this is a must-buy item!

These are hands down the best single bladed nippers I have bought. They cut so clean I barely need my hobby knife or sanding sticks at all. If you take good care and use them as intended you won't go back to your previous tools. Price is a bit much but I believe they're worth it if you're an avid builder like me.

Un gasto necesario, no se siente el impacto de las navajas al cortar las piezas del runner como sucede con otras pinzas; que incluso pueden producir un daño o mandarlas disparadas.
