Since I was unable to use my Sony Mirrorless APSC camera in low light, I needed an external flash to help light my subjects for useable lowlight shots.After lots of searching, I stumbled upon the iM30 by Godox and it’s been the greatest camera accessory I’ve purchased.Compact, lightweight, and simple AAA batteries makes this an ideal choice. Love the adjustable power (1/64-Full), which provides the perfect range for all situations.Power-up time and time between shots is surprisingly zippy.

This camera flash is a great addition to my photography gear! It’s easy to set up and use, providing a significant boost in lighting for indoor or low-light shots. The flash is powerful, but still soft enough to avoid harsh shadows, giving a natural look to the photos. It has adjustable settings, allowing me to customize the brightness and angle to fit my needs. It’s lightweight and portable, making it perfect for on-the-go shoots. This flash is surprisingly strong for its size. The build quality is great. It’s a good little pocket flash if you want minimal gear but it cannot replace a Godox v1. The biggest issue with this flash is that it only works with small lenses. If you have a long lens, it will cast a shadow in the image. The other issue is that you aren’t able to change the direction of the light. But for the price, it’s fair. One star removed for being limited to only short/small lenses.

This is a nice little manual flash unit to carry around for "just in case" or for experimenting without carrying too much gear around. The flash power is adjusted with the dial on top of the unit and that's basically all there is to operating it. It can also be used as a slave flash via optical trigger for different lighting situations and setups. It fits my Nikon just fine and does a good job with a decent recycle rate, depending on the power setting.

I picked up this Godox iM30 flash because I needed something small and lightweight to add to my kit. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it performs.The flash is surprisingly powerful for its size, and the adjustable intensity levels give me reasonable control over the lighting. It's been very useful when I need a bit of fill flash to brighten up shadows or add a pop of light to my subjects.The S1 and S2 slave mode functionality is a great bonus and not something you normally see on a flash this small. I've used it as a fill flash with my Speedlites without any problems.It's incredibly portable and easy to carry, perfect for on-location shoots. The small size also makes it less intrusive, which is helpful when working with people who might be intimidated by larger flashes. Little kids can sometimes get a little freaked out by the giant speedlights, and this little iM30 seems to be "friendlier" due to its smaller size.While it lacks some of the advanced features of more expensive flashes, it's an excellent value for the price. If you're looking for a compact and capable flash for everyday photography, I'd recommend the Godox iM30.

I primarily like to photograph landscapes, and the outdoors. I don't take pictures inside often, and when I do, it's almost always on my phone. However, my dad was having a big family get together and wanted me to get some stuff on film and asked me to take some pictures. I knew I needed a flash, but I didn't want a big and bulky one, I wanted something low profile, but still capable of getting the job done. Well, color me surprised. I love this thing.I used it on my Pentax K1000, and it worked beautifully. Being able to adjust the intensity of the flash on the fly was incredibly useful, and not something I would have thought of, being so used to "one and one" flashes. The different intensities are also noticeable, which I liked a lot. It's not just a gimmick switch, it really does change how intense the light is. It's earned a spot in my camera bag, and while part of me hates to say that, another part of me is happy, too, because it means more pictures of more great moments.It's small, and tucks away easily, and only takes AAA batteries, so I'm using some rechargeable ones I had laying around. Add this to your gear, if it's compatible with your hot shoe. You won't regret it.

This little flash packs a punch.It's very compact and very easy to change settings on.I would love to see Godox come out with a remote version of this flash.

This a very bright little flash, even on it's lowest setting, it might be a little too much actually. The bigger issue is that the flash sits so low on your camera that it casts a shadow if you're using a longer lens. Only short lenses are going to work with this thing.

Kameras im Retro-Style sind angesagt und geben einem das Feeling der analogen Fotografie zurück. Entsprechend blüht auch der Markt auf, der passendes Zubehör liefert. Godox ist ja kein No-Name, sondern ein inzwischen gut etablierter Hersteller, so dass ich recht hohe Erwartungen an diesen kleinen Aufsteckblitz hatte. Das Design passt perfekt zur Nikon zfc, und da diese Kamera selbst keinen eingebauten Blitz hat, ist dieser Blitz eine praktische Ergänzung. Der Blitz ist sehr einfach gehalten, keine Neigung und auch nicht zu drehen. Das Design ist konsequent retro, die Verarbeitung aber ausgezeichnet, einschließlich der Verschraubung vom Gehäuse. Der Blitz hat keinen Akku, sondern wird mit zwei normalen Batterien betrieben. Wenn man Spaß an Retro-Kameras mit manueller Bedienung hat, dann ist dieser Blitz eine wirklich optimale Ergänzung, da es das Prinzip konsequent weiterführt. Der Blitz ist klein und handlich und auch recht leicht. Schoen waere es aber gewesen, wenn noch passend eine Tasche mitgeliefert worden wäre, um den Blitz bei Lagerung und Transport zu schützen. Ansonsten eine klare Empfehlung.

El Godox iM30 me ha sorprendido por ser un flash tan compacto. Lo adquirí buscando algo pequeño pero con la potencia suficiente para enfrentar situaciones de baja iluminación, y la verdad es que cumple bastante bien su función. No es un flash para profesionales que buscan grandes resultados, pero si lo que necesitas es algo práctico, fácil de llevar y que te saque de apuros, este modelo hace el trabajo.La potencia no es descomunal, ya que tiene un número guía de 15, lo que lo coloca en una gama más baja si lo comparamos con otros flashes más grandes. Pero para lo que está diseñado, que es aportar luz rápida en situaciones sencillas, es más que suficiente. Lo que más me ha gustado de este flash es lo compacto que es. Es tan pequeño que apenas ocupa espacio en la mochila, ideal si buscas algo ligero y sin complicaciones. Además, tiene disparador inalámbrico por infrarrojos, lo cual está bien si quieres dispararlo remotamente, pero ojo, no es compatible con otros flashes Godox de gama más alta, así que si tienes otros flashes avanzados, no lo podrás integrar en el sistema inalámbrico de Godox.Una de las pegas es que solo puedes dispararlo de forma directa. No tiene opciones de rebote ni ajustes creativos para modificar la dirección de la luz. Esto puede ser un problema si te gusta experimentar con diferentes tipos de iluminación, pero si lo que buscas es una luz directa y sin complicaciones, no te preocupes, cumple su cometido. Además, es totalmente manual, sin TTL ni automatismos, lo que puede ser un inconveniente si no te gusta tener que estar ajustando cada vez la potencia del flash.Algo que me pregunté fue si el flash es capaz de hacer ráfagas, lo cual es una característica útil si estás disparando varias fotos seguidas. Ho acquistato questo flash per la mia fotocamera Sony ZV1 MK1, il prodotto e piccolo ed è molto comodo da trasportare, a necessità di due batterie AAA non incluse nella confezione. Molto facile da usare, si attacca facilmente sulla slitta della fotocamera e funziona in automatico senza dover fare nulla.Dopo alcune prove sono rimasto soddisfatto dell'acquisto.
