When the "coating" wears off the face the tool is officially "broken in".Tradesman wear these down to nothing over 6 months to a year

works well The tool comes powder coated that is not necessary as the powder coat wears off quickly and serves no purpose but asthetics.

I think goldblatt works great and leaves a better product than craft or other competitors. My only complaint is coating on the flat face of the mag leaves trails in concrete when it begins to come off. Over time and the more you use it, the coating will come off and leave you with a great mag float.

Needed a float for a stamped concrete step stone project. This worked great. It was comfortable, pushed the gravel down like I expected, and cleaned up well afterwards. I can’t speak to durability since I’ve just done the one project but it did what I expected at a price I liked.

This was the same thing I found at Lowes but cost half the price on Amazon. Worked great for my concrete countertops.

like others in the reviews mine has started to flake on the edge. will have to touch it up with some sand paper or something. not too big of a deal but I wonder why the coating is there if it wears off so easy?
