This strap is fantastic. It’s made well, easy to install, and most of all it does it’s job wonderfully. It’s very comfortable and makes your trimmer feel 20lbs lighter. The rubber bungee thing was a little concerning to me at first but I actually really like that it has some good resistance. Time will tell whether or not it wears out and eventually breaks, but for the time being this strap was a major back saver! Definitely better than most options I saw and can attest that it works great.

Others have said, and I concur, the "bungee" aspect is pretty much non-existent. If you pull down really hard, it will stretch maybe a 1/4". But overall, the padded neck strap is very nice, and I'm sure the rubber bungee does help eliminate transmission of vibration through the strap.One annoying thing I found was that the spring-type clip that clips onto the supplied tool shaft loop tends to turn and unhook itself quite easily. I had it happen with my weed string trimmer maybe a dozen times in 20-30 minutes. I was working on a rather steep bank much of that time, and it required lifting the tool. Releasing the weight on the strap allowed it to turn just right, and when I put weight on it again, the spring clip opened. Not an issue when I was on flat ground and letting the strap take the weight of the tool.Overall, I'm satisfied with the strap. It made a noticeable difference from the day I didn't have it, to the day it arrived and I used it. I'll absolutely keep using it, but might have to figure out a way to keep it from self-unclipping.

I’ve had this shoulder harness for about 6 months now and it seems to work just fine. Has plenty of adjustment on the strap , the clip hook up works great! And so far the rubber bungee hasn’t broken. The bungee rubber is hard out of the package but becomes rubbery over time. I have to recommend this product 5. Love it!

We have a LOT of weeds. Lugging around our weed whacker for 1-2 hours is certainly a chore, so we needed something to help distribute the weight.Pros:- Easy to use and attach. There's a little ring you fix to the pole of your weed whacker and it clips on to the belt. I'd say it's universal for the most part.- Helps lighten the load. It's a huge improvement over holding all of the weight on your own. It's a definite improvement over having nothing.Cons:- The strap loosens on its own. I have to readjust it a couple times while weed whacking. Not a huge deal, but I wish the strap held in place a little better. Maybe if the strap material was thicker or had a more durable texture to it, it would stay latched to the fastener.- It can easily be replicated by a few household items. If you have a strap laying around, you can probably make something pretty similar for a fraction of the price. It's not hugely inventive, but for someone who does have the ingenuity to DIY, it's a good buy.I really don't have any complaints overall though other than the adjustability. I would definitely buy it again if needed to in the future.

its just a strap with a piece of rubber..... BUT IT IS AWESOME ! i have one on both my weedeaters and it works amazing. pair this with a trimmer grip and you can weedeat all day long !!

Would be a great product if only the clip that attaches to the shaft would remain closed. Somehow it constantly disconnects. Leaving myself without the support of the strap.Other than that, it’s a helpful product.

Works really well. We had it for almost 2 years. The clip that holds it broke this year. It adjusts well and really lightens the weight of the weed whip. The green “bungee†is really just a hard piece of plastic with hardly any give. I like the green look though. Overall, less weight and more stability when in use.

In the photo for this product, the 'bungee' rubber portion of the strap is depicted as being stretched to about double its normal un-loaded length. This fits with the name 'bungee', where you would expect a fair bit of stretch and bounce in use. In reality, the rubber 'bungee' section is HARD RUBBER and the trimmer would need to weigh about 100kg to stretch it to double its length. There is NO BUNGEE ACTION, it's just a piece of hard rubber. Therefore the photo is FAKE. Fake photo = scumbag company, no excuses.
