This thing caught fire in less than 3 min running a 2s battery in a 4. 75# crawler. And I was only testing it in my yard. Total junk. Now my rig and garage stink!!! Crap, crap crap.

These cloned ESCs are hit or miss. But this one is a hit. Used in an upgraded brushed arrma 4wd Senton. Used a HPi mmh-4000 4000kv motor which is no joke. Running on extended 8.4v NiMh batteries and the combo has tons of power and speed. Used stock gearing. The real nice thing about this ESC is that it has the "retail programming options" and not the "RTR" programming options. Allow me to explain, the "Retail Programming Options" are a longer list of options you can adjust to change the performance of the ESC found in ESCs bought separatelyin retail boxes. The "RTR Programming Options" are the shorter list of options found in ESCs that come pre-installed in RC cars and are referred to as "OEM ESCs" (original equipment models). The OEM ESCs have far less options and are usually not as capable as the retail units. This is a retail unit, not an OEM. Thats good! And for all those looking to program their ESCs, ESCs do NOT usually come with a programming card, so please stop discrediting ESCs when they do not come with a program card, its an optional accessory, not to be expected. And the Hobbywing LED or Surpass LED or GoolRC with the single led ms and numbers printed on the card all will program this clone of a 10bl60. No issues programming and no issues using. Tested up to 3s with a 3000kv motor and reduced size pinion gear to keep the FDR appropriate. If you dont know what FDR is , then you really have no business rating an ESC when you blow it up because its your fault you used it improperly in the first place.

Bought this to match with a Hobbypark 540 brushless motor to put in my 2wd Slash. Literally plug and play. Using a 2s lipo right now and it is plenty fast. Had to put a 13t piñon and a 90t to tune it down a bit. 5 batteries through it so far and is running perfect. I didn’t need to program it.

After about a month of use with a touring car, it started sparking out of no where and almost burst my car into flames. Not a good esc in the long run

First battery I put on it ran for ten second then smoke and fire came out of it. Had name brand battery and electronics in the model. Literally caught fire and melted itself, stay away
