I broke the O-ring on the back of the old kholer cartridge and caused a big leak. It was 10pm so the fastest a plumber could come was over an hour away. I called the Fire dept to help. They turned off the water from my main water line in the street so my water bill won’t put me in debt. This product arrived the next day. Installation was easy, cartridge fit perfectly and there was no leak. A perfect replacement for a kholer one, much cheaper and shipping was much faster. This product saved me from waiting 4-5 days for a kholer one to arrive, and it fixed the problem perfectly, so I had to give them credit and write a review.

I've installed these mixer cartridges a couple of times in my house over the past 20 years, and all went well until my final test. The water continued to modestly flow in the OFF position. I believe this product is not completely to the specs of an OEM product, yet often fits, functions fine maybe for a while, and then some don't function correctly, like mine, right from the beginning. There's a reason this is a third of the cost of the K_hler name product at about $100. Live n learn; reminds me of refurb laser toners for my printer...

Half the cost as Kohler’s version and works just as good. DIY Installed in about 10 minutes- hard to mess up. Leak stopped!!!!

I bought this product to replace the one in our shower cause it went bad. It was really easy to replace this part, took about 10 minutes once i turned water off. Shower is now working normal again. Would buy this product again.

We had a leaky shower that was driving us crazy. I was scared to take on the job myself because I have no experience dealing with shower repair. This was an easy fix, with many helpful tutorials online. The cost you will save yourself is huge. I highly recommend this part. This arrived fast and was 50% less expensive than the local store. I can only guess what a plumber would have charged.

Very satisfied. My advice is to take your time cleaning the existing brass valve body. I spent 15 minutes at each port to bring out the bright brass color. Not cleaning thoroughly could lead to leaks. The sandpaper supplied was garbage. Set yourself up with some 600 grit wet/dry paper. You will also need the proper lube (not supplied) for the rubber “O” rings. My existing valve was allowing hot water into the cold water pipes throughout the house and the new setup solved that problem completely.

Plumber here. This is a great quality cartridge/repair kit. I find a lot of bad quality products on Amazon, but this is one of the good ones, and is a fraction of brand name’s price. It fit well, sealed well, and worked as should, even in an old and crusted valve. 5 stars!
