Reinforced Pump Base with Open Sucking Holes
Pump handles water up to 1.5 inch solids with ease. Its steady stainless steel pump base with large opening supports strong suction force from motor and protects it from blocking, that allows pump works normally in dirty sump pit even there are leaves or any other debris on the bottom.
Multipurpose Adapter Kit for More Hose Choices
Comes with four plastic adapters that makes hose connection quick and easy:
- 1", 1-1/4", 1-1/2", 2" barbed connect discharge hoses for high capacity pumping;
- 1" NPT, 1-1/2" NPT, 2" NPT connect threaded hoses for quickly installation;

This Green Expert 1.5HP Submersible Sump Pump appeared to be a well-built and great pump. So I odered it, and it was delivered within a week. I was very excited and anxious to use it to drain some of the water out of my in-ground pool. But to my surprise and very disappointed, when I opened the box, I found a USED pump. It was dirty and rusty. I contacted Amazon customer service and they were going to send me a replacement pump. I hope they don't send me another used one. The ONE star rating is for sending me a USED pump.Updating my review( Review on a New pump)I received my replacement pump today (It's a brand new pump, YEAH!). It comes with everything you need to drain or pump water. It is a small pump, but it works like a champ. It's a very quiet and a very powerful pump. It is very easy to use. Just attach the adapters and hose to the pump, drop it down to the bottom of the pool, plug the power cord to the outlet, and have fun with it. I love it and would buy it again and would highly recommend this pump.

l have a large overflow trench l dug because of so much rain here over the last 8 years l have tried and burnt up pump after pump UNTIL l got this pump, it say 6k per hour it is at al least 6k per hour this thing is a beast it is great BEST PUMP I HAVE EVER HAD

I live on 6 acres, and utilize multiple pumps, plumbed into 4" discharge lines, to manage / control flood water during heavy rains. During the heaviest of rains I'm moving upwards of 50,000 gallons per hour. I had been buying high volume HD cast iron pumps that cost upwards of $700.00...which would generally last between 1 to 2 years....a couple have lasted longer These little guys are similar horse power, 1/2 the weight, close to the same output rating and, so far, have worked great. I figure, even if they only last an average of 6 months each, I'm money ahead. They also have a much lower start / run amperage draw, which avoids popped breakers at the worst of times. I'm a few months in to using these, in conjunction with my other pumps and so far I'm impressed. If they are still going strong in 3 more months, , I will by 4 or 5 more to keep around as back ups.

I did a bit of research and saw all the complaints about the other pumps on Amazon having false HP ratings. I decided on this pump as it seemed like a legit 1 1/2 hp or at least close. I needed to do a water change in my 25,000 gallon in ground pool. The pool company, and whatever type of pump they use typically took 2 or 3 days. This baby drained my pool completely overnight. For the cost you cant go wrong. And for the saving of not having someone do it this will pay for itself. Only draw backs are it is hard to maneuver with a rope when it is at the bottom, particularly keeping it upright. Also it will turn off with about 7 inches of water remaining, though you can turn it on it's side though not recommended per risk of burning it up.All in all Highly recommended.

I purchased 3 pumps from Green Experts. 2 5500gph and the shiny bigger one 6000gph for a hydroponics garden. The first one lasted 6 months and the second one lasted 3 months and the third pump 6000gph went today! What a complete disappointment! I will not not recommend period! Don't ignore bad reviews. I saw some bad reviews for these pump and ignored it. Trust me don't ignore it!

Purchased to drain water from inground pool when closing for the winter. Actually works well but took a very very long time....over a day and a half to remove extra water below the skimmer to expose the jets. I would not recommend this product for that purpose unless you are not in a hurry but was impressed with the product.

I bought this pump because we needed to lower the water level in the pool to rebalance the chemicals. The pump was light enough for this 59 year old woman to carry around with it's handle, easy to put in the pool, was secure in the pool, was efficient at pumping out water with no issues and is easy to store for future use. We used it all night and of course it was noiseless because it was under water. I got up several times in the night to check it and it had no issues or problems at all. The price is extremely fair and I am very thankful we chose this pump.

This pump is very powerful. But after installed 2 weeks and only run for total 10 hours, the pump stop running. It looks like water got inside and shorted the electrical line.
