It worked as designed. Diverter seats on top of plastic aerator, so make sure there is no mineral build up on the top edge of the ring. Be careful after removing aerator to clean the mineral build up. If plastic gets damaged while cleaning, the diverter won't seal completely. I used the back edge of a plastic knife to scrape it clean.
