If you want to control three or more independent outlets, the 6 setting is the correct valve. This item was cross referenced with another item I purchased as the needed diverter. It works great. Everything feels solid, there is no loose knobs and it diverts water to the desired devises quickly. Love it

Excellent valve and diverter combo. Works well and trim kit (purchased separately) which looks great. Please be advised that this is the rough-in portion only and you need to buy a trim kit separately. The cartridges for the valve and diverter will be included with the trim kit. The diverter accepts cartridges for 3 way use (switches between two water delivery items or a combination of the two), and six way use (switches between 3 water delivery items and a combination of any two). Make sure you buy the correct trim kit for your installation. My installation includes a standard shower head, a rainfall head and a wand. I mistakenly purchased a trim kit with for 3 way (included a 3 way cartridge and when everything was installed and the water was turned on I had no water to the wand. I then realized after doing some research, I should have purchased the 6 way trim kit. Fortunately I was able to purchase a 6 way diverter cartridge which was an easy installation into the universal rough-in. Everything works as it should

Installed without issues. Solid brass and clearly marked "up" and hot cold sides. If you're using a plumber make sure to tell the combination valve body. Brass part is solid, easy to assemble and installation. High flow rate with appropriate cartridge.

Fast delivery and easy to install and gives lot of flexibility for functions. Tested with pressurized water running with no issues. Stops are very handy to test the different lines. Very good quality for the fraction of price that costs in stores.

well made with Solid brass construction. Came with detailed instructions, test caps and was easy to install. Good value for the money.
