Prior to finding this remote, I had a great deal of difficulty finding a compatible in-stock remote for my Guardian garage door opener. A “universal“ opener did not work and two previous attempts to find a supplier came up empty. This one was easy to program and worked immediately.

Sent a used/returned clicker. The box looked about 16 years old and taped up. A dirty thumb print on the clicker and missing screws.Very frustrating to pay full price but that's an Amazon issue, not a product problem.Regarding the product, whyyy does Guardian have such antiquated products?! The builder-grade beige looks like a sore thumb against my bright white trim. But it paired instantly, was easy enough to install and works fine. We don't notice it being difficult to press the buttons at all, as other reviews mention. At least no differently than another other keypad clicker we've had.

I waited three weeks to get this product. When it arrived, it did not work. I followed all directions which were simple and easy to follow but product is defective called guardian for self support and they stated that the product is also defective and to return it.
