I’m not in an area where strangers might access my weapon. My need is to prevent access by visiting curious grandchildren.I am delighted with this well made gun safe. It's the perfect size for my pistol, and there's still room left for other valuables. I’ve tried biometric safes that unlock with fingerprints, but unfortunately at age 81 my fingerprints are not distinct enough to register on most biometric devices. This safe offers a pin code option which is just as fast, and works every time. It operates on included alkaline batteries, and there’s a USB-C option and two keys if the batteries should fail. But that should not be a problem as there is a LED display that shows battery level and the internal temperature and humidity.Mounting the safe on a table next to my bedside was easy and straightforward, Access is easy and smooth. The only potential problem you need to consider is making sure that you consider access to the manual lock when you mount it.All in all, this well built safe fulfills all my requirements, and was a good value for the price I paid.

Nice and sturdy when mounted. Gave me plenty of options when looking for a place to mount this and with some practice it should be easy to use in an emergency. The foam inside can be modified to fit an assortment of firearms and the display shows humidity which is a plus.

Works great, only giving 4 stars because I do not love the mounting bracket from the top. It is flimsy feeling. I added another bracket to the back to firm it up.i feel a safe should be firm and in place not wobbly. But I really like it overall, just make a sturdier bracket for 5 stars

This is possibly the best drop down gun safe on the market. Quickly releases, can be mounted under a desk for privacy. Childproof 100%. Highly recommend!

This works great, installed it in my room for easy access. Just my fingerprint and I’m ready to protect my family if needed. Super easy install and it lights up at night which is great since most break ins are at night. Manual key also if you get locked out. Very good I recommend it!

This product is designed to work on the battery pack or you can plug in with a c cord. Would not work on just batteries. I tried both the batteries that were provided and a brand new set of Duracell. Once I plugged it in it finally began to work long enough to memorize a fingerprint. It would easily remember one and then 20 minutes later when you try to open it it either took 20 tries or wouldn’t work at all! Come on!!! This is absolutely unacceptable and unreliable! If you did have an intruder and needed you weapon asap there’s no way you could rely on it let alone put your or your family’s life in its hands. I’m totally out. Finding a more reputable safe.
