I was very happy to find a box of SOFT white pastels! The price is reasonable, and there are just the right number of pastels in the box for individual use. The pastels are packed in a sturdy fitted box, so they arrive in good condition.

These white chalk sticks allow me to achieve effects that I never would've imagined without them. It holds up even when I'm scrubbing aggressively with them.Love them! Five stars! :)

I have been doing some basic pastel work and having a nice black and white is essential for blending darks and lights.HOW THIS COMESThis comes in a nice box which is cushioned.QUALITYThe quality of these sticks is very good. They are square and the black is pretty intense and the white holds its own without being too transparent. They blend well too which is important without getting muddy quickly.THE BOTTOM LINEThis set of white and black is handy to have as these colors are used up quickly. My experience with them has been good.MY RATINGFIVE STARS. These are good pastels in colors that I use often. I like them and would probably buy them again.

This is unfortunately more of an off-white, see photo. This product is on the right, and the true white I am trying to replace is on the left.The black seems deep, but haven’t tried it yet

Very nice to work. Smooth consistency but sad to say the white ruined my charcoal drawings with a yellow tone where the whites were most intense.In the examples attached, you can see the tint pronounced more in the first building on the right and the waves and dresses on the other drawing. So the most intense whites will yellow. Spraying the drawing with fixative seemed to have enhanced it. Now I’ll have to go over it with something else.Hopefully the manufacturer will fix this.

Wonderful black and white pastels. They are just what I have been looking for. I go through so much white and black that I needed this for my other sets of pastels.

It has wonderful blending and the colors are on point. It comes in nice packaging keeping it safe from falls or anything that could damage it. The packaging is reusable too, so you can keep it safe in there even after you use it a few times, hope this helps!
