I have used knock off solder tips on my Hakko iron and I always find myself coming back home to Hakko tips. Durable, even heating, no surprises. Good stuff. Recommend.

Genuine Hakko tip in new packaging. I needed a tip for soldering fine pitch SMT parts to replace the burned out tip on my $100 PRC made soldering station. Fortunately, it uses Hakko T18 series tips. I expect good service from this tip.

Definitely get this for small wire gauge soldering. The Hakko irons are wonderful and they "push" heat all the way to the tip of this. This is all I use, and I regularly solder from wire gauge 22 up to 30.

This is another high quality, well made Hakko tip. I have many Hakko tips and they all work well and last a long time. It is great to find as many specialty tips as Hakko makes. I definitely recommend Hakko tips for your soldering needs.

The T18-BL soldering tip is another great product from Hakko and is my "weapon of choice" for 0805 components and any SOIC chips. My only complaint is that it is hard to keep it tinned when working with lead free solder at high temperatures, but that is a problem with all irons I have used.

Great tip for those very small surface mount parts. Like the 0404 and 0603 sizes. Had trouble heating quickly above 0603, which is to be expected.

Bought this to see if the chinese soldering station could be upgraded to better performance. The difference between the one included with the yihua and this hakko tip is astounding, would highly recommend this part to anybody with a Yihua 853AAA.

You can get a pack of five or six tips for less than the cost of this one. But, after a few intensive soldering sessions the cheap tips basically corrode away. Not this one.The saying 'you get what you pay for' is 100% accurate here. It's been used for several weeks and still shows no signs of corrosion or blackening that the cheap ones do.

Not that good to be fare. The end of the tip is not hot enough to do the job intended for. Unless you turn the heat right up but then it just burns. I ordered 2 so hopefully it was just one bad one from the batch.
