I set up the atomizer, the splash guard, and plug it in. Perfect fog in our fountain. The lights add to it, making it mysterious and magical all at the same time. I really wasn't concerned too much about the LED lights. I just wanted it to fog in my fountain. And I got more than I asked for. This is a wonderful little setup. Keep in mind that these fragile little atomizers are designed to break down. Have on hand extra discs and the key tool. That key tool is so important. Without it you will have to buy a whole another kit, which is ultimately what I ended up doing. Saving as a favorite for when that time comes that I need to replace it.

The floating foam used will develop discoloration quickly. I have had this unit in another pond and it works well but develops discoloration of the foam quickly. The replacement ultrasonic plates are great but very hard to change out. It is hard to get the cover ring threaded back into the hole. But patience pays off. When the fog lessens after about 6 months a new plate solves the problem

UPDATE: Have only had since April and now won't make mist. Lights work but that's it, ordered replacement disc's and tried several and still not but blinking lights...10/15I love it have a wondermist bowl for years and my mister went out, found this one the price was good, it did not come with the 5 disc's or the float as advertised. Have had this since April and the disc around 2 months and the disc has quit. Would have a much better review if the items listed would have actually came with it.

Absolutely great product! Basically an all-in-one kit! Comes the floater ring, and splash guard, as well as the ultrasonic fogger unit that built entirely out of solid metal. I've had mine running for months now essentially 24/7 without any issues beyond periodic cleaning! If your in the market; look no further! One of the best deals online! I have been looking for a quiet mister with color changing.This is easy to use as you just plug it in - there are no controls.It has a bigger atomizer than some - this makes it louder. The white noise is at a similar sound level as the trickling water because of this. I was looking for smaller but it is hard to tell which ones have the smaller pieces.Color changing - it has been the trend to have colors with a harsh sequence instead of flowing one into another in a smooth gradual approach. This one just flashes one color then abruptly changes to another. I tried watching the video but it is set up in such a way that you can't tell which type it is. I was hoping for the gradual change of color.

I bought this to replace the mister in a glass dish. I could at first not install it because the grommet is too big. I ended having to widen the hole in the dish using a Dremel and a diamond reamer. Without that modification I would not have been able to use. The installation left my hands sore for several days.Otherwise the unit works fine.I had to review my evaluation and downgrade. After a few months of use (we use this mister not more than 2 hrs/day) the lights don’t work anymore. The unit comes up yellow and then shuts off the lights. In addition, there is deterioration on the bottom, the metal feels rough and shows signs of rust. We only use distilled water and a few drops of essential oils.

This one is a replacement. I’ve had a dozen, though not this brand, but they all perform about the same. Creates color lighting with Misty effect. If you clean the surface of the ultrasonic device every week or two, they will last for a year or more. This one looks like good quality.
