Our original remote for our Hampton Bay fan/light wasn't working, even with new batteries. This was a direct replacement. All I had to do was set the switches to the same positions as the original and install the batteries. It works perfectly.

It looked like the same product, though I couldn’t identify a model number on my old remote. And it seems to be made of good quality. HOWEVER, this one has only FOUR DIP switches. My Hunter remote has FIVE. Better yet, the fan has a 50 year warranty and I’m saving $16 by going direct to the manufacturer.

Bought this remote as a replacement for our outdoor fan. Fan and light are easily operating again; we are happy. Reverse button does not work for our fan but the original remote did not have this feature. Didn’t think it would, so no ding on the rating. Keeping this remote indoors as rainwater ruined the original.

Waste of money did not work even after try all the different codes I could find. I did end up taking it apart and use the parts inside to repair the old remote
