Firstly, is a battery installed?
Secondly, please pair the remote control.
Important reminder
If the remote control cannot control the fan, please pair the remote control again. Steps for pairing the remote controller:
1.Step 1-Turn on the wall switch.
2.Step 2-Press and hold the "SETUP" button (Keep pressing for 5 seconds).
3.The light flashes and a beep is heard, indicating that the pairing was successful.

Bought this to try and replace the lost remote for an older fan. No amount of button pushing and switch flipping got it to work. Eventually gave up and bought a new matched set remote and controller with a wifi app. Curiously after I installed the new controller and tried pairing this remote to the new controller, it didn't work with the new one either. Red LED flashs when you push the setup button, but no joy. Not sending it back, in the junk drawer it goes. This remote may be good for some fan controllers, but its not very clear which ones. Like I said did not work for either my old one, or my new one.

Waited forever for delivery, no instructions included as how to pair the remote with your fan. Very poor product.

At first I was really frustrated that it didn't work and thought I bought the wrong one. But I went back to see if there were instructions to pair it and it works perfect now. Just turn the like off for 15 second, turn it on and immediately press and hold the setup bottom. Easy peasy! I'm going to order a back up now that I know it works.

Purchased the light/fan very pleased with product. My dog ate the remote and that’s where my complaint about shipping comes in. Maybe I tried to rush the process. I ended up receiving everything I needed in due time. Remote it’s self is perfect size, easy to read, and easy to use.

I tried literally everything. And then I waited and tried again later on several different occasions because sometimes for whatever reason, things actually decide to work like that. But unfortunately for me it wasn’t the case with this remote. Bummer.

My dog destroyed the remote to my Arnfinnur 4 Blade Glam Ceiling Fan purchased on Wayfair. I contacted Wayfair customer support to purchase a replacement remote and they were zero help and could not provide a place to purchase a replacement or even get me in touch with the manufacturer. After weeks of searching, I finally found this remote and it worked like a charm. It is an exact replacement to the remote which was destroyed. Highly recommend to anyone with the Arnfinnur 4 blade glam ceiling fan purchased from Wayfair.
